Well it sorta looked like they were taken out period, but I can’t confirm that.
Wow that Neco Arc player seemed to know what they were doing. That backdash from any blocked normal really is quite interesting. I do hope they aren’t taken out of the new version, but rather just made better and 'more fun to play against." since that seems to be the primary gripe.
HD Box Pro adds a little bit of lag. For the first several weeks that I was using it, I didn’t really notice but then I realized that it lags after having some trouble doing frame tight stuff like F-Aoko’s air EX orb > land > 5[c] > 2c or H-Aoko’s 5a6a6a > 2a > delay 2c > 5a6a6a when switching between my main set up and SDTV.
You could argue that it might be my HDTV, but I don’t think that’s the case since the lag through RGB is only 6MS when using HD Fury 2 to play PS3 and 360 games and there’s no noticeable delay.

so i’m guessing Shiki is Ciel’s absolute worst match up for her, cuz i’m having alot of trouble beating her…more than any other character in the game. the only thing i can seemingly do to stop her is 5b, nothing else in ciel’s arsenal is quick enough to keep up with Shiki’s low attacks.
I just wanted to express how awesome it was to watch the Melty Blood stream.
Going into Sunday, I had never heard of the game before. I can’t say I’m going to pick up the game, as it’s a bit late for that. But I wanted to give the Melty community props for putting on a good show. I know that some people were giving the Melty community crap for being at evo, but as a lay person I found the Melty matches very entertaining and educational.
p.s. As a marvel player, i’ll say that you peeps were WAAAAAAAAY more hype. Don’t take crap from anyone.
Like I said on the stream: Melty is Marvel’s kid sister. Since it is animez, that sister is rocking twintails, thigh-highs, and a big chip on her shoulder.
