Hopefully this isn’t a frowned upon question. I just started playing the game (and first fighting game in ~15 years) and I really enjoy it. However, I don’t really know which character I should commit to since I am not really good enough to perform much of anything to know how playing a character really feels. I’ve tried a few and I initially thought I’d play with Yun. However, I quickly learned that the most effective way to play him is using SA3. It is fun, but I don’t think it is what I really like given that it seems my sole objective is to get my bar up.
Some things I believe are my preferences
I enjoy the short chain combos and would love a character that has a few effective ones to use.
I want a decently fast character, doesn’t have to be ibuki/yun/yang fast, but just not slow like Hugo.
I am horrible with charge characters, while I’m not competely opposed to using them, I believe it will take a lot more effort for me to learn them.
