Did playing Street Fighter inspire you to study the martial arts, the Japanese language, anime/manga, try “Chanko Stew”, or anything else like that?
No, but talking to people on SF4 forums like this one and PSN chat got me trying out a few anime shows. Playing as Sakura got me to try a Japanese girlfriend. She was too clingy. Eating with chopsticks was more interesting than learning Japanese words.
Playing SF4 inspired me to consider committing seppuku at the front entrance of Capcom’s head office.
Playing SF inspired me to work out and become strong.
Moving to GD.
Why…
SF4 inspired me to play 3s, and never look back
that’s about it
For me, playing street fighter, I just want to get better at it. Meet new people. et cetera.
Street Fighter inspired me to go home, and be a family man.
Hentai.

chuni li and cammy shower scenes…epic
Alright guys. Just say what you want then.
Street Fighter the animated movie was kind of a gateway to anime for me. It made me want to seek out other series other than the ones that played on TV. Like many others, the shower scene acted as it’s own gateway to other things
These days I can’t really stand anime anymore.
The games themselves gave me a different outlook on life. I try to welcome challenges in my life as a catalyst for personal growth whenever I can.
Fighting games made me better at Pokemon.
Street Fighter made me put the toilet seat up.
the reverse for me.
street fighter made me interested in psychology and games in general. used to be single player+fighter guy, but now I’ll play like anything
Does anyone ever try to draw some of these characters?
Serious answer.
Yes, when The New Challengers came out i was obsessed with drawing T-Hawk.
I don’t know if there’s anyone that’s played Street Fighter that hasn’t been inspired to draw the characters in one way or another. That or at least write about them.
