I bought a new Hori Real Arcade Pro VX SA for the Xbox360 last week. Today, a stick sometimes get stuck. For example : when I push a stick to the right and release, it doesnt go back to the center and the character go to the right automaticlly .
I had a madcatz TE , it had a same problem and 2 weeks later a stick dont work, (buttons are ok).
I dont know why this happened and how to fix it ? I cannot return it to the shop because now I am in VN and I bought a stick from US (amazon).
It’s available for preorder on DASCHEAP for $54. I used the coupon code DASISGOOD1 for an extra $10 off. I think that coupon code only works for preorder so you better pounce if you want one. One thing I noticed is that the store’s product description is as follows:
[]1 Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT-SK arcade stick
[]6 Sanwa OBSF-30 buttons

1 Sanwa OBSF-24 buttons (Start)
Does this mean that this new release of the V3 has Sanwa parts? Or is the store’s description wrong? Anyway, here’s the store link:
Does anyone know if these will be available in the UK soon? I would hope that Amazon UK started to stock these, although the VX SA’s seem to be declining in popularity as Amazon is steadily knocking more an more off their price, so I would doubt that they would stock these if it were the case that the VX SA’s were flopping here.
Looks like a nice base for my next modding project, looks far easier to mod than the Datel I did for my son a while back.
I asked if the product description on their site which shows all Sanwa parts was accurate or not, and this was their response: “The Description from the site is EXACTLY what is on the actual printed box that the stick is coming from.”
I also emailed them and they told me that it says Sanwa on the box.
I asked this question over at neoempire and I got a response from a lad saying that he eyeballed a few in hmv and game, in london. I asked him maybe he saw the hori fs3, but he was adamant it was the v3.
I dont know what to make of it, and I aint got time to go down town and have a butchers…
Is the JLF stick solid even when you mount it without the metal bracket? If you don’t use the metal bracket do you have to be a bit gentler when handling the joystick?
