Don’t sleep on Tekken Tag 2 with Super Yun Fighter 4: AE around the corner and MK blowin it up currently. I pray it gets a fair shake amidst all the stuff (crap?) out there atm (same for KOF13 whenever they feel like, ya know, bringing that out). Cheers to one of the most underappreciated fighting series around, that btw has everything I hear some fighting game fans complain their game of choice is missing.

fun saltmines on tuesday. my super secret marvel team of spencer, thor, and wesker had its official and hilarious unveiling. somehow, i think it works. some good sf matches too. i’m able to see more minute details of the game now much faster. laurence, there’s a tsubaki combo vid on the front page. get on that. otherwise, get back on dustloop and get those platinum combos. i tried to get on the psn store last night but it was down for maintenance–so no ah3 yet.
most likely preordering gundam musou 3 today or this weekend. you can be like… any gundam ever and you can mix and match pilots with mobile suits. there’s even a 4 player cooperative mode that is, apparently, impossible to beat on your own. i’m gonna try and check out some vids. i think i remember the cell shaded graphics as looking pretty sweet. the thought of mowing down hundreds of enemies with giant robots piloted by emo teenagers with physics-defying haircuts excites me. just sayin.
Definitely good times Tuesday, so thanks as always for coming through. Just wanted to point out a really noticable change in our small community and say thank you to everyone for making the effort to really teach. There is a lot more conversation, suggestions, tips, break downs etc during matches and it doesn’t go unnoticed. They don’t really seem like just casuals anymore, so again thank you.
Kraig that team works…When you get the tri-dashing from Thor to vary your offense with him then you will see a massive difference in efficiency and in the win column…SO MUCH DMG. I’m still think Wesker is the one to target since the others aren’t nearly as scary in XFactor. .In the lab with Hulk, Zero, Dorm. Creating some technology of my own to make Hulk S.H unpunishable and found some really cool stuff between him and zero I want to try out Tuesday. If anyone around this weekend, I’ll be on live and at home Saturday morning, Sunday Morning for matches of Super and Marvel, hit me up.
Brian, not gonna play Jax or Baraka, so i’ll work with Jade or Sindel now that the combo system seems to make more sense to me…destroying me with Kung Lao won’t help me though =P. If your around Sunday i’ll come through for some rounds.
I want to get Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3, but after logging in a little over 200 hours into the second one, not sure it’s a good idea for my life lol. Aside from that they still don’t have any other popular Endless waltz gundams from what I have seen which is fucking ridiculous after 3 iterations. No Death Scythe, Sand Rock? Not to mention any of the awesome G Gundams aside from God Gundam(burning fingers!)…No Dragon Gundam? Seriously wtf. I hope I’m wrong though. If you and Tim are going to be logging some serious hours into it I will get it from PS3 otherwise I will be xboxing it. Those 4 player co-op missions are going to be awesome, if the A.I actually feels like hitting you this time around…

i’ll definitely be logging some serious hours on gundam 3. on a side note, i did my playstation training only they fucking tricked me. when you log into their site and take a “pre survey” they ask you if you what consoles you have, and if you list ps3 as one you don’t get offered the free ps3, so instead i got a shitload of move stuff and some games, which i will trade in for a pretty decent amount. fuckin cheaters grrrrr.

Deathscythe is available. Sandrock… seriously, i’m gonna let you slide on that one. The God and Master gundams from the G series are available too. Shinning FIIIIIIINGER! I have read at least some promotion stuff that the AI was improved and actually provides support to itself and cover fire and stuff. also read that the english version has some upgrades. just have to wait and see at this point.

Nothing wrong with Sandrock, Sage wasn’t a favorite in ronin Warriors and he still kicked ass. Regardless i’m all over that Heavy Arms and my boy Domon! I’ll probably never be able to play death scythe online since it’s seemingly everyone’s favorite, at least from that series. It was Burning Finger in the american version (thank god for toonami), sounds more rugged too. Probably gonna play everynight that i’m capable so i’ll see you guys on line
CP, I am with you. Crazy fights in G Gundam and my number 1 as well. Gundam 00 is a close second for me. Any pilot that can pull off the name Allelujah Haptism is badass…
I have to remember not to go for 22c unless I have meter to rapid, can take you to the corner with the combo afterward. Whale is great, but it is laughably punishable even when spaced. She bounces in the air when it hits then lands, but guess there has to be a downside.

I hope everybody has a sweet memorial day weekend. with the crappy weather assaulting us I sort of forgot about it so I may be on psn playing some bb or mvc3 or something (not that any of you play on ps3 anymore) if i’m not painting the porch or drinking a beer on it. I still gotta beat me some 3d Dot Game Heroes though.
I’m looking forward to this tuesday. I should be able to rustle up a couple more people to come down too. do we have approval yet to take over PWA on the 18th for the tourney? We gotta have time to promote the hotness! AE singles (DLC released June 7th), MK 2v2, MvC3 something, and BBCS2 singles. we good on this stuff or what?
Not sure what the right method to contact Adam is since I haven’t had much luck on the phone. I was hoping we would get a response by now to the stuff we have posted thus far, but i’m sure he is busy with other things. I’ll go down tonight on the later side, drop some tokens and confirm directly with Sarah or both if Adam is there tonight.
The Xbox is the equivalent of the Dreamcast for fighting games. If you owned one then no further explanation is needed. It’s a multi-console world so why pick and choose when you can have it all. I’ll be picking up Uncharted 3, Infamous and have room for dessert with Gears of war 3.
if i bought everything out there when there were two choices then i wouldn’t be able to afford 60 inch 3D TVs with one frame of a lag for a 60fps game for us to play on.
now i’m gonna go practice some gamez to show off my hot skillz for teh stream monsterz on tuesday.

I made a PWA layout for my stream and CP and I played on it Saturday. They’ll be a player cam, but CP and I didn’t feel like being on it (at least I didn’t, so you can expect to see that on the bottom left of the stream)
My audio mixer is in Northborough, MA (sp?) and I don’t think USPS is going to be getting that to me today :x although I hope to. So I dont’ think commentary will be happening tonight.
I’m hyped for tonight, hope you guys are too! If we have more than 6 SF players, I’ll run the danisen battles.
Yea, they have a lot of PS3’s and xboxs that could use sticks, the past couple times I’ve gone to PWA I haven’t gotten there til after 7, so I think you’ll be cool showing up after then.
As Tom said, bring your stick:). We try to be as self sufficient as possible. You can show up anytime too, just depends on how many games you want to get in before we shut it down. I’ll push for the extra hour tonight as well so please remember to show a little love to some of the games on the Arcade floor (just $1). It will make life easier when I do ask for the extra time. Nice turnout last night guys. I am working with Lawrence on the upcoming Tournament (Set for the 18th of this month). Tim is there any way you can start to work on two flyers 1.) For the tournament itself (once we set the details) and 2.) The Tuesday night events (14th, 21st).
On a side note we are tentatively looking to go every Tuesday for the summer starting after our first tournament.
