I didn’t see the wallcade stream (I heard there were some crazy peeps that showed up for that) but i did watch the friday night stream in somerville. you bested craig stevens’s hawk with your akuma. it was nice. i would like to think that playing me actually helped you in that matchup… hopefully. Also, I wanted to go to wallcade and everybody was like “oh my god I can’t go” so i didn’t wanna drive the 2 hours by myself. tomorrow i’m just gonna give everybody my number so if anybody changes their mind in the future they can inform me. looking forward to tomorrow. brian, i’ve been working on lots and lots of hawk combos to maximize that damage.

Always room in the Mines, come on down. I believe we will have three setups two xboxs(my own and someone else’s) and my PS3. Will definitely need 4 sticks for xbox and a two copies of SSF4 for xbox so please confirm if you are bringing stuff. I have no sticks for Xbox and one for PS3. May I also suggest bringing your food ahead of time lol, we had peeps starving until almost ten the last time lol. Come full or have something ready to eat =p. We do order but it gets too chaotic with drunken street fighter players ::cough:: Bryan:: and hype and salt flying everywhere to get everyone on same page so come prepared thats all. Split on beers as usual, i’ll be putting in a cold 12 which we know is never enough…Think we can get Miller or Bud to sponsor us?

Also, 5 Dragons is this week so Laurence, change that thread title so people will see what’s up and everybody tell all their friends to go. attendance was great last time so let’s keep that up. my kickball game is at 6:30 this week too so I can show up at a normal time.

Nah its not a tournament, however it sfuckign halarious and fun…We are a team of NH players that want to develop our scene and one another to the best of our ability. I perosnally learn somethign new everytime i go. We get shitfaced and quite hype even when theres no neeed, but we do take the game serious despite all our shenanigans…also if you coudl get a sponser with Miller or Cooors your in :)… were you from man ?

Then come on down. we try to get new people to show each week and it’s a very welcoming environment. we play some matches (some peeps are not so good, some peeps are really good) we eat delicious, made-to-order chinese food, have some drinks, and crack jokes the whole time. 5 dragons is a great place to meet players, have some fun, get matchup experience, and up your game. You can also learn to play other games like Blazblue or Brawl.
i know, right? hopefully they will all come out of the woodwork once CS drops at the end of july. of course, i’ll also be moving to rollinsford then AND i’ll have August off from work… so i’m gonna be buried in training mode rocking those fatal combos with tager (I may even decide to pick up another character too)… and possibly LED mod my stick. just sayin. CS is gonna be HOT.
@Ssaico: I think I did a pretty good job of explaining what 5 Dragons and Salt Mines were on the very first post of this thread so I would start there if you have any questions. Regardless Salt Mines is just the event name for a weekly gathering at my apartment. Beer, food, laughs without the elitist snobs that soooooooo frequently cant get over themselves to help the less skilled improve. As you can guess we aren’t like that (although it is inevitable that you will run into some of the aforementioned players regardless of where you play). We talk a lot of shit and get salty but its because we give a fuck about street fighter and want to represent NH as a skilled community of players. Contact me for next Tuesday if you are interested in coming by. 5 Dragons as the guys have already posted is a bi-weekly event at 5 Dragons restaurant in Nashua.
@BlazBlue: If you guys point me in the right direction I will make posts any and everywhere to make sure BB players know about Mines and Dragons. Unfortunately BB is often heavily criticized for various reasons, isn’t very popular, and the players we have that do play, play extremely casually which isn’t much of a challenge for the hardcore BB players among us. I happen to like the game a lot since i’m a marvel/kof guy…Street fighter just happens to be what everyone is playing…ask the TvC crowd how this goes…So start pointing! I would like it represented more prominantly if possible, but we obviously need the players to make that happen.
