if you are running, you don’t have to FD to stop and throw. if you run, just go to neutral and throw.

Option Select is a term created by Americans.
Its correct term is called FD cancel. and from there you have options.

If this is a new game, and it’s legit; why not enjoy the changes? It makes things fresh and new. And I know FDC throws or whatever are so essential, but you could live without them.

If sol gets tenson back with dragon install and he just keeps rushing you down when he has it… doesn’t that mean its possible to start off with like full meter dragon install and keep the person locked down gold sol style with dragon install?

Yeah depending on how fast the dragon install re-ups the meter you could just run up lock them down with the increased speed and then right before the retarded cool down time dragon install again. especially since dragon install gives full body invinciblity.
Letting the stick go back to neutral and throwing is strictly slower though, not to mention vulnerable to reversals. Throws were never a problem, there isn’t any reason to weaken them in this manner.
Regardless, I imagine they are refering to something other then what I think…I hope? There really isn’t much reason to remove something so harmless.
#R red was the first attempt to balance GGXX further, but instead it made the game broken, with faust having a bootleg infinite. #R blue is the proper fix of GGXX balancing it further.

haha I was complaining alot that they should make the air-shuriken into a command instead of pressing taunt, and i said fukin make it 236K or something, cuz once a while I threw shurikens low to the ground, sometimes I’d make execution mistake and land then press taunt, so I would end up getting owned. And my wish is granted, but as I said before, I hope this is big time BS.
If you are refering to dash break throwing… it’s actually only about 5F slower to just go neutral and throw. Most people can’t do 6 > FD > Throw that fast anyway, so it’s not a HUGE change. But yeah, they’re refering to Option Select. I guess it just makes throws a bit more of a commitment to go for.
I was thinking that a next GGXX revision should contain everyting in Isuka, keeping the priorities, and changing around some hit properties. Being able to hit an inanimate object reaping a counter hit is extremely retarded, not to mention being able to hit characters with very low-to-the-ground sweeps with high hitting moves like Slayer’s f+Hs (Reloaded). Just dumb.
