LOL, cheap as in what way? I get hit by 3 loops and I’m damaged by 80%. YAY. 1 Loop = 45-50%. It’s just gonna change the way he’s played. Regardless, if this is the future of Guilty Gear (or some preview of what’s to come for 3X or whatever the fuck they’ll call it), we’re just gonna have to see. The Japanese will always find a way to make Sol look better or play better anyway. That or everyone will treat him as trash. I bet the FDC game will be back though.

P.S. As for the Eddie property in the air, that’s kinda crazy, even though he can’t block, he can still FD, which makes it even better for him since Eddie really doesn’t block up there, he just FD’s. And enhancing the property of jumping Kick makes it even funnier.

No more FD Throw? So much for running up to their face trying to get a mixup game going…

And wow, Sol and Eddie gets toned down EVEN MORE. Sol will probably fall to low mid tier (hell, maybe bottom tier, since he’s now VERY much like Ky…) with the loss of his Dust loop, while Eddie becomes even more of a high risk/low reward character. But Eddie j.K whores should be happy though…

  1. Eddie’s Jk is enhanced in priority.

  2. Eddie itself cannot guard attacks while floating in the air (but it can still FD attacks).

This is the shittiest. Good Eddie’s don’t get hit in flight, and giving him the option to FD flight is pointless. Let’s bring up a situation where someone unquestionably beats Eddie’s j.K and gets high damage from it…Sol runs up and VV’s while Eddie has no meter and scores a CH because Eddie can’t FD and flight itself is in a CH state. Sol gets damage, but wait! He can only do 1 rep of the dust loop! Perhaps these changes hint towards changing the gameplay to focus on long, damaging combos that aren’t “easy to do loops”.

I need Millia changes ASAP. Eddie changes don’t make sense. Sounds like they’re changing the way the game is played entirely, if this is in fact another version of #R…but this might be the new game they’ve been talking about?

Of course, I could easily see this being the “new” GG game they’ve been mentioning, because their money machine is doing so well they’ll just release a new version. Makes perfect sense to me. I’m happy for a new game though. Just be ready for Evo not to sponsor it ever, because it probably won’t come out here.
