Try this one out:

neat combo. 100 pts dmg.

there is a slight better version of that combo though:
123, gj, st mp, dakai, palm, palm, hopkick, palm, palm, mp lunge, ko ender. does 103 dmg :slight_smile: 5 palms total

the best version would be:
123, gj, st mp, dakai, palm, palm, palm, palm, palm, ko ender. 107 dmg. 6 palms total!

I have an easier version that does 96 and same meter.
123, gj, st mp, dakai, palm, palm, hop kick, palm, palm, rh upkicks, shoulder tackle jab, dakai, mp lunge. (if you want to be sicker just substitute one more palm instead of the hopkick. also does 100 dmg. i am a little more inconsistent with this though)

dander your combo sucks. only does 89 dmg. :frowning: you can make it 92 if you do mp lunge to finish.

I am gona try that too. If its 3 points extra damage only (equal to 1 jab…), my version is easier :P.

Also, about the 6 palms with the K.O ender, the 1st palm should be a True Kara Palm the go walking Palms ftw…man, I prefer to find something cheaper.
I am also trying to figure something for necro, but nothing close enough yet.

for 4 less measly points the 96 point combo is the easiest and most doable imo. ko ender is kinda bunk anyway outside a reset. the 1st palm doesnt have to be a kara palm at all. just mp dakai walk forward palm palm palm palm party.

My variation is easy, as well. All have to do is to pull off the combo very fast. Q’s falling animation goes higher with each palm. Then, lunging punch (MP) connects just barely and K.O ender to finish.Also, I doubt that the 5 palm variation can connect to K.O ender, because you just barely have any genei-jin bar left at the end. Dragon kick(HK), SH Tackle(LP), Dakai, lunging punch(LP) is the only ender that will connect for sure.

No need to kara the lunging punch at the end. Another nice variation, though. Good work, Dander!

everything i posted works. i even included dmg numbers from me doing the combos lol.

imo its very important to learn not to drop any combos whatsoever. If you can do your combo 10-15 times in a row completely, without messing up, id be really impressed. the hardest part in the ko ender is getting the last dakai, which is why many people often will omit it if they know its not gonna connect and just do a lunge punch.

the 4 point dmg difference between a combo i can complete 99.9% of the time vs a risky ko ender without reset is not really worth the risk imo. but im just giving my advice. personally, i hate not completing any ender in genei jin. i think its really scrubby.

Q is the easiest character to juggle. The K.O ender is easy on him only. Ppl may miss the dakai at the end cause they mass it. It’s simply timing. Qs slow falling speed is the key here.

I still got trouble to connect the K.O ender with your variation though. (F+MK, walking 4 Palm to K.O ender). As far as the 6 palm variation with the K.O ender, I’d love to see it.

Any combo is optional. Some ppl think its too hard, others feel it is a little too much and skip it.
The point is Genei-Jin is fun. Espeacially when you find something new :slight_smile:

i wont lie. the 5 palm into ko took me like 15 mins to do it. luckily oe has the save state function or it would have taken me even longer. if i have time ill try to tape it.

got it on my 3rd try. its not hard really… just the last dakai.

Very nice! The tricky part in this variation, it the very first walking Palm. The timing is strict. Then, its all walking palm till the K.O ender. It’s pretty hard to keep consistent execution on this combo.
The lifebars on 3SOE have different visuals, somewhat shorter than arcade or emus. So, I can’t see the difference on Q’s lifebar clearly enough, but I can estimate those 5-6 extra points.

The combination/setup {c.MK->GJ, c.LK, Palm} connects on standing characters with big/medium hit boxes. Specifically, it will connect on
a standing Q, Elena, Alex, Necro, Twelve, Ibuki, Oro and Shotos (tested).
This setup will connect on crouched characters with really big hit boxes only. For example,
a crouched Urien(biggest crouched hit box and the easiest connection by far), Elena, Dudley, Alex, Ibuki, Necro, Oro, Remy(possible, although it is very difficult) and Twelve(tested).

You can land a high damage combo from a low attack using the setup mentioned above
(instead of xxGJ-parryable both high and low or SJGC-parryable high only)
on specific characters at the corner of the stage.

All in all, the setup {c.MK->GJ, c.LK, Palm} is so OP that is almost ridiculous…Not easy, fortunately.
