His girlfriend at the time started some really stupid fight about her trying to control his life and eating styles, and in the middle of it she grabbed a peanut butter jar, tightened the lid on it, and threw it off his balcony. Then she grabbed his snack cakes, and threw them off too. Now, the peanut butter and trophy, I could forgive, but a man’s snack cakes? shakes head Jesus, she was so frickin controling and mental.
I just really dont understand the need to hurt a loved one’s belongings when you’re upset - I could never imagine myself doing it. Friends of mine, a couple I know, get into huge fights on a regular basis (I think they feed off it). Stuff has been getting broken lately tho, and it really makes me wonder then how are they ever going to stay together. Now, I can see throwing dishes…they’re expendable in some fashion, but other stuff…its just really bothersome to me. It just seems to show a lack of respect on one another’s part. Now if a girl caught her man cheating or something, I’d have a hard time blaming her if she causes a little homewrecking as long as it didnt get too out of hand. My friend Kate after her break up with her ex, duct taped his teddy bear he’d given her bondage style and left it at his front door. At least that was somewhat classy.

I’m leaving the fucking forums for good. I’m tired of SRK and the immaturity that runs amok on here. People who have none whatsoever are fucking lauded while those who don’t fuck with anyone always get the fucking shaft.
I joined SRK purely because I was looking for other players to play against that would help me with my game. I’ve only been playing SF for 3 years, and I didn’t have a lot of time then or now to really get better. I just wanted other players to fight against. Since I’ve been on here, I’ve met some really nice people, but they make up maybe 5% of the population on here and they all happen to be female. I wish I hadn’t joined now, because I’ve realized that South Carolina is full of people who think they’re great but will always be looked down on by other places. It isn’t the skill, it’s the attitude and the ego.
I’ve never been a great player except at a few games like the Rival Schools, Mortal Kombat and Guilty Gear series. I’ve been self-taught with every SF game I’ve played since I picked up Alpha 3, and with each one I’ve made it point to at least try to learn the engine so I would have some clue of what I was talking about. I’ve stuck by my choice in characters such as Ruby Heart when people who have always looked down on me said the character sucked. I used to like playing the character just because she was fun for me. The point is, I never tried to overreach myself and make myself bigger than I was just to try to impress people. I just liked to play fighting games was all. But that’s been ruined for me. I got tired of trying to be the better person and not say nothing because I am actually better than that. I just don’t care anymore.
I want to thank you ladies and guys for your support and advice. I appreciate all that you’ve tried to do for me and for listening and posting what you could to help when I had problems. It’s just that now, I have no reason to be on SRK because I disassociated myself from the South Carolina thread and I don’t play anymore. It has ceased to be fun.
Rubes: This is Satomi. Anyway, I know what you’re talking about. Recently, things in our area got really stupid when a friend from Maryland came up to play MVC2 with us. The guys from our area showed no respect whatsoever. It eventually got ugly when one of my threads was turned into a flame war and got closed by Ronin. Those guys are constantly asking me why I’m not at the arcade or this and that. MY friend and I have agreed to come down whenever there’s a legit reason such as this dude from MD. It just got really stupid and playing MVC2 just became rather dull and drab. When there’s a group of assholes playing, it just takes out of the fun. So yeah, I’ve gone through some of that hometown drama before. It’s ridiculous when you think about it. Instead of putting an end to it, they just keep insisting on how great they are and how I should quit plaiyng cause I suck so bad. Bah, whatever.
Rubes, don’t let cocksukers run you out of SRK. If you leave let it be on your own, not because bammas want to act all hard online. All of these immature scrubs that have flooded SRK in the past year and a half, all seem to talk big shit online but they will never let themselves be seen offline. All of the respectable adults on SRK have shown themselves on SRK. Sometimes you be at tournaments and see people and you ask them if they are on SRK and they say yes and they tell you there handle. But the assholes on here usually want attention because they can’t get it on person. They act like bitches on their periods to people because they know you’re going to reply back or make a ost about you leaving. They get extreme joy from that shit. I know some people on here are proud of themselves when they run someone off. To end this, don’t leave SRK because you do got people that like talking to you and that have respect for you.
DIRENESS 9: Believe it or not, normally my g/f doesn’t get violent whenever we have an argument (we rarely argue). So this threw me off also. I suppose what I did to end our argument (dumped her in 3+ feet of snow) was shocking even to her & literally made her “chill out”. I have been wondering if by chance something triggered this type of behavior and she just haven’t been able to talk to me about it. Hopefully, this is just a one-time event, but I will pay more attention to ensure this doesn’t become common.
RUBES: I don’t know what I can say to make you change you mind about leaving SRK. But if you do leave, I totally understand and wish you only the best in life. If you decide to come “home”, I will still be here.
Erik: check your PM’s for ProximaCentauri. as for Jen’s old art site, it WAS peek-a-boo candy, but she’s changing it right now. so most of her work is on deviantArt or the message board she has now. i got an email from her this week; she’s doing great!

Ang: I received the PM and thanks again. I got it working for the time being. I agree with Dallas about how it could very well be a hack or viris. I’ll have to get an anti-virus. I’ve been running my comp without one for a while now .
I see that rubes said that she wanted to get better at games and get tips from srk forums. That takes a lot of courage to actually say , cuz the people in my area already think they’re the best and the girls at my arcade dont wanna hear shit, cuz they think they’re too good. Rubes, as far as srk is concerned, dont listen to flamers. Just leave them be and keep playin what you like to play. Rubes. Queen of combat, kitty and taco have all been helpful and kind but flamers will never die, just don’t add fuel to the fire by showing them your feelings. If u post back again and again that’s adding fuel to fire and i learned that the hard way once upon a time in an srk forum.
Everytime I say something like “u gotta block more, attack etc.” the girl or guy flames quickly. Nobody wants tips and they think they’re really great. I ask for tips frequently on #capcom from choi, justin, etc. they are very helpful shady k etc.
Personally, I’m tired and fed up of being the “nice helpful guy who tries to step up people’s game.” If you would like cvs2, mvc2 tips, just respond sayin u want tips, specifically. If u jus wanna flame me and say “you suck, blah blah” copy my gamertag and get online. also put up money if u wanna flame. thank you.
ps. the people that flame me etc. arent people from this post so dont think i am saying anybodys name, just people from other forums and my arcade. I jus wanna see if rubes is right. are 95% srk members flamers and people who jus talk smack?
