I’m doing fine. How about you? I hope everyone is ready for christmas.
I got to see LOTR2 today. It was pretty good. The battle scenes were nicely done I might add. I’ve never read the series though so I’m a n00b as far as plot and characters go. You know something? With X-mas coming, I’m not really looking forward to it. I haven’t been too excited about it for the last few years. Maybe I just outgrew getting excited over it. I think the holiday has lost its touch over the years. It’s become more of a financial burden for lots of people. I look at Christmas as the economy’s method of getting everyone to waste their money, but hasn’t that been the case almost always? Maybe it’s because I’m older now and with a job, I can pretty much buy the stuff I want. Shopping for other people sucks. You’re clueless as to what to get them. Not to mention females. I spent an hour in JC Penney’s women’s dept. staring at the perfumes and all sorts of girlie stuff so that I could figure out what to get my mom. Then I thought to myself that guys are hella easier to shop for. Not being hateful or anything. Man, imagine if I had to go to Victoria’s Secret again. I did that two years ago to get my ex gf an expensive set of pajamas. I wasn’t quite feeling the sexy underwear. I don’t care for that stuff too much:p. So there you go. I have found myself despising this holiday season, but I know I’m not alone. Maybe next year will be better. Doubt it.

Okay, LOTR II was SOOOO much better than the first. Throughout the first film I kept thinking “God, is this OVER yet?” but this one…wow. Just wow. I loved it.
I dont know that anyones going to get any presents from me this year. I am broke. My dad gave me a hundred dollars to keep me going. I do have a present from last year I forgot to give to my grandmother that I’ll prob give her this year. Does this make me a bad person…yes, I think it does. sigh
Got through finals and dear god, I am so happy that HELL IS OVER!! Im kinda pissed tho because I was looking forward to being able to post and sell some stuff on Ebay as soon as I was done with my testing but my computer wont open Adobe Picture Maker and it wont download the pics from my camera…:mad: People have been fucking around with the computer programs again, and they never bother telling me so I can be aware of potential minefields like this.
I may have done something bad last night too. Theres this idiot girl who always parks on the wrong side of the street at Ben’s house. And she always parks so that if you park your car on the CORRECT side of the street, it makes the street too narrow for the buses and larger cars to get through without difficulty. So you have to park YOUR car legally further down the block. And Im sure she knows this is happening because we’ve gone out there before with the phone, telling the cops what her lincense plate # is and she’ll come out right afterward to move the car. So she or someone is watching her car and noticing we’re calling someone about it. I got pissed last night that she did it again, and wrote a nasty note that she needs to learn to obey traffic laws and if she parked there again I was calling the cops. I also called her a moron. Next morning, someone’s pounding on the door. Ben’s already gone to work, nobody’s in the house, I ignore it, roll over and go back to sleep for 15 minutes. Then I decide its about time to get around anyway and get up to get my gear together. I start to head to the front and glance out the window - and theres a cop there across the street with this guy and girl (I dont know if its the idiot girl or not) looking at my note! Oops. Okay, did I do something bad? I didnt think writing notes was police-worthy, but perhaps my comment about “moron” was. Im confused. I decided to wait until the cop left because I just didnt want to get into a fight with the neighbors esp. when I dont legally live there. The cop left the car there, but put what looked to be a new note on it.
So Im kinda thinking perhaps maybe the people across the street had called the cops either because A) that was their car and they didnt like the note or B) they were complaining about the car and the cop came over to our house to ask if it was ours, and then left a new note. Now Im afraid the neighbors are going to complain to the land lord and he’s going to ask us questions about it. Im pleading no contest.

:lol: a misha’s misadventures…that sounds like some mischief i would get into a few years back. actually i almost had the lawn guy towed today because he parked up IN my driveway and my sister couldn’t park there. i came in the house bitching that I was gonna call the cops; but didn’t do it because of similar circumstances. ah well.
question: is there a neighborhood watch there on Ben’s street or not? or is it more like neighbors watch and only DO something when it concerns them directly?
the reason I ask is because you can prolly look up the local residence laws there in Lawrence concerning parking, personal property vs. city/public domain and find out if she’s really parking illegally OR if the city needs to update and/or widen the streets to accomadate the residents living there. Parking itself has always been a pain in the ass in the city, regardless of the city. But yeah I’d say it was a bit hasty on your part with the name calling within the note. I mean if you’re legally allowed to just have her towed…or the landlord to have her towed at the car-owner’s expense, then I suggest going that route. Because once shit with the neighbors starts up it just escalates to petty legal/illegal shit commonly shown on various court tv shows. sighs
Two more items and I’m done with my holiday shopping. Sigh I work Christmas Eve, but during the day. My job has always raped me as far as holidays go. They make me work on Xmas and New Year’s Eve and at one point I was coming in early on New Year’s Day:wtf:. I’m sure you guys have some pretty fucked up hours at your jobs, etc.
Goku: I need a whole lot of patience to beat Hiruko. I just wish I had a save point before fighting him. Going through 8B is such a fucking chore, but I look at it as a warm up of sorts. I’m getting in the zone now. I can’t remember how many Tates I had, but there were many. I’ve got 24 talisman also. 30 will unlock Moritsune, 40 will unlock Joe Musashi, and 50 will unlock the VR Missions mode. Man, I wish you could unlock Ageha too. She was pretty bad ass not to mention the fastest ninja in that game. Oh well, I hope you pour a 40 ounce on the curb for me so that I beat this game. It’s a good thing I’m a hardcore fan cause I would’ve given up a long time ago cough3A and the ninja dogscough.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!! WOOO-HOOOOOOOOOO!!! Wow, I cant believe its Christmas, it snuck up on me so fast. I only have gifts for my parents and sister, really cant afford anymore right now and I didnt have time to make anything for people. sigh The boyf and I promised eachother we’d wait till after the holidays to get eachother something. Im probably either going to get him the new dark knight hardcover comic book or some anime.
Thats so sad youre going to be alone for Xmas, Goku! If I lived in your area I’d just take you home for Christmas and stuff you with homemade banana bread. But like you said, you get the house for two weeks (oh blessed freedom!!) so… tough tradeoff! Almost as bad as the year everyone came down with the flu over Xmas except me. I spent all the week rushing from bedroom to bedroom with garbage pails, and nobody could open presents or eat the stuff I’d baked. I had to eat christmas dinner all by myself. That was the worst Xmas ever. I never felt so alone.
Ang- yep, that girl WAS SOOO on the wrong side of the street! I went by to double check and no-parking signs were posted all over that side. She finally moved her car, the tart. I dont think theres a watch, I think its just when people piss eachother off that any action is taken. But no mores been said about the subject, so I guess Im not in trouble…heh heh. Yet.
I got a great Xmas present! I got an “A” in Japanese and another in Women’s Studies!! WOOOOO-HOOOOOOO! Now Im waiting for the W. Civ and Math reports to come in. crosses fingers I wasnt expecting the A in JPN at all, but maybe I did alright on the final and that bumped it up. Either that or the Japanese GTA’s felt sorry for my pathetic ass and asked the Prof. not to damn me to eternal GPA hell. Im guessing for a B in the math and civ classes.
