I’m taking a break at the moment from writing my Colonial History paper. I think I’ve got some good stuff, but it’s taking forever to write and I’m having to constantly go to the library to make copies. This is why you guys haven’t see me online much. But it’s all going to be worth it when I’m through for the semester in about 2 weeks.

I’ll give tecmo props though, they’ve succesfully marketted a game and not once has anybody questioned if it was going to be good or not. RC: Yeah, I hear ya on that one. I actually want to play it to see how fun it is. I mean, the only other sports titles I have are NBA 2K2, NBA Live 96, 98, 2002, 2003, and Virtual Tennis 2K2. The girls in DoA are just in it as a marketing thing. It wouldn’t get so much hype if it didn’t have popular characters from a fighting game series. That’s besides the obvious cough really bouncey breastscough. Now if Capcom re-made Megaman Soccer in 3D for PS2 I’d for sure get that one.

If someone is telling someone else to stay away from their ex (this is how Im understanding the comment) they’re doing so usually for one of two reasons:
- Person A still have feelings for the ex Person B, and they arent over them. They may still have plans to try to rehook up. They may simply be in alot of pain at the moment. Either which way, they have some emotional attachment. Just on a common sense level, if the if you have a relationship of value with Person A, its best not to fuck around with their request until things have cooled down. I dont think of it as betrayal to GO against their wishes, simply because this is a free world and you should be able to persue who you wish, as long as their not in a current relationship with somebody. Then you best keep your skanky-ass nose out of their relationship business. LOL. But it seems like it would cause problems with Person A and yourself, problems that may not be worth the cost of a friendship. Its best to let things slide for awhile. It its meant to be, it’ll happen.
2)Person A is telling you basically that Person B is bad news. Person B done fucked Person A up, and they dont want to see it happen to you. Its best to bide by Person A’s advice. If you think Person A may just be saying it out of spite against Person B, keep an eye on the situation and eventually make a decision for yourself if Person B is truly the Satan that Person A makes them out to be. Then procede forward with caution.

I dont know. You have to realize that female gamers or even female who successfully tolerate long periods of gaming are kinda a rare species in themselves. I mean notice that alot of the girls here are also into alternative music, clothing, and ideas about life styles and alot of them are, shall we say, smarter than the average bear. Gaming may attract, oh, I wont say a type of female - but females of similar interests and perhaps even sexuality backgrounds. I think sexuality or choices in sexuality has some sort of connection to intelligence.
For example, someone of slightly below or average intelligence may feel attracted to someone of the same sex and say “Society says this is wrong, Im supposed to be straight, Im going to suppress this and be completely heterosexual.”
A more intelligent person when feeling attracted to someone of the same sex might think “Why not? Society’s fucked up, stupid and crushes the life out of its people. So why the hell would what its saying be right? Im going to be open to this attraction and not suppress it, and explore this facet of my sexuality.”
This is just my own personal theory about acting or accepting one’s own bisexual-ness. I suspect there may be quite a few more men and women in the world who are bisexual, but they never choose to act or even explore mentally the possiblities and appreciate the beauty my own sex has to offer.
A few of the female gamers (I wont name names) I suspect are claiming they are bisexual to capture the attentions of the male gamers here on SRK. In truth, they may be bi-curious, but they really get off on having guys pay attention to them because they’re some of the few females that post on SRK, and then announcing theyre bi bringing them even more attention. Im only saying this because Ive noticed the way they interact through their posts with the males and how they use their “bisexuality” in conversations. If Rubes says she’s bi - I believe her because she doesnt talk shit, doesnt act like she constantly needs male attention, and is just really honest in all her dealings from what Ive seen. I would trust really most of the girls who post in here that they are what they say they are.
