I personally love Gokuās japanese voice actress. She does a great job capturing Gokuās innocent side, and if you know any japanese, itās hilarious to hear Goku speak, because his pronounciation is so different. I still say dub Goku should have a southern accent to draw upon his ācountry bumpkinā roots.
So, how well would the PAL version run on an NTSC set, and does anyone know where I can purchase it? Cuz I hear the UK actually got a bargan bin price, and I know it has Japanese voices in it.
Wtf? Shin Rodimus has an american copy with no japanese option!! Howād that happen? I posted on other messageboards saying Iād have that game already but the dub voices suck ass, and everyoneās like āJust switch the audioā. Then I see other comments online saying itās possible, but I needed confirmation hereā¦Iām gonna buy that shit tomorrow before I even get off from work! If it has japanese vaās, I can get used to the gameplay and capsule shit, no matter how gay I think it is.
Early copies were fucked over. If you buy a GH copy that doesnāt have Japanese voices, you should be able to trade it in for a fixed copy. Iām sure most stores have the fixed copy by now though. Best way to check is if Panās mouth moves on the Load Data screen. If it does, you have the right copy. If not, you donāt. I know my copy has the full japanese voice track. Not just in game, but on the menus as well. Absolutely lovely.

How the hell do you make Chi-Chi fly during that qcfx2+S/W special? I know that if you tap S/W then she will continue to swing the staff, but I canāt seem to make her fly (except one or two times when I was just nailing all the buttons wildly).
EDIT: Also, is anyone planning on making an FAQ about what all the leveling up shit is? I have the japanese version, and there really isnāt a reason for me to level characters up much, because I have no idea what half the shit is.

Oh snaps! I just got Gokuās Instant Transmission skill. I was owning on Survival Mode until I reached Trunks. He was one of those AI opponents with a red name instead of white under his life bar. You know, the kind that are super crazy powerful? Basically, me = pwned.
So when will we see a tier list of this game? So far thereās really no one Iāve used that I havenāt liked. But then Iāve only played as Vegeta, Goku, Gohan, Krillin, 18, Piccolo, Freeza, Majin Buu and Cell. And Krillin is pimp in this game.

Any strategies for #18? I chose to use her because I felt like using someone different. Are her throw attacks/setups any useful, and what are some decent comboes for her. All I know is 66H->66L->dpL or H. I sometimes use her throw special on wakeup, and her LHL,LHH mindgame doesnāt seem too useful (they can avoid the whole thing). I need help.
Weāre working on one at GFAQs. The top tier of the game is unquestionably Freeza.

Which I can agree with.
Plus, Majin Vegeta is very good as well. Because heās naturally SSJ, all of his ki attacks have SSJ style benefits. In other words, they are bigger and do more hits than normal. He can combo off of his counter break, unlike normal Vegeta.
Piccolo seems really good, but heās being debated at the moment. This is what Iād say for tiers, based on my experiences and watching match vids:

The game is pretty well balanced, although the reason why Freeza is top tier is just total BS. Hopefully, should Crafts & Meister go for a sequel, theyāll actually add in mix-ups for everyone. Whether it be highs/lows, guard break meter, guard breaking attacks, etc.

So is this game actually worthy of being called a fighter or is it some Budokai/Tenkaichi bs? Iām really wondering if I should pick this up or not and whether there is a possibility of really strong competition in 2p mode. I mean is it actually fairly balanced, no bad camera views, and just a straight forward fighter. If it is I will deffinately pick it up and tell my friend to do the same.

after playing it with friends i give it decent 7.9 as a hardcore fighter. But as a DBZ game it sucks. it needs tweaking because a lot of buffering does not come out. it needs guard break, command throws FOR EVERY CHARACTER, more variety believe it or not, and more attacks without unlocking them. shit was nnoying as hell. ive think ive made 30 wishes alogether in the last few days. i hate that og mode.
