The only character I remember with a remarkably short skill tree is Piccolo Daimao, and he isn’t that great at all. I think Cyborg Freeza can get a really short skill tree too, if you get him all his weapons.

I only watched the first video.

There were times that a juggle combo could have been done, and yet you guys went for a ground combo. Granted, a ground combo can be a little more safe (on block), but you could have H Homing if the ff+L was blocked.

And after the flip special by 18…? Why did they go for a jump~H instead of just dashing in and going L, H XX L, H, L Homing XX L, H, L Homing~L? (not sure if it’s possible to do three L, H, before the L Homing; and I can’t check right now) If you don’t have the combo perfected, then just go for what you do have. Guaranteed damage is better than damage that could happen.

Also, a beam special from full screen away? Seriously…

EDIT: It also seems like you guys only focus on the ambiguous cross-up game (which isn’t so ambiguous since you always do it to the opposite side). Neither one have a good ground game of any type. It’s like if your string is blocked (that is if you ever throw out an attack) then you stop immediately and jump again. 18’s L, L, L is fairly safe on block, but the guy quits at the second L in the second video. And, in the case of finishing the string with an unsafe attack, you just add on a H Homing and BAM it becomes mostly safe.

The vids was not bad, and I’m glad to see some one play it, I dont have any people which sucks.

about the vids, yea there were some missed air combos, Poz your chi chi is cool but when you do the air combo, after the ffL you dont have to let the homing L hit cancel it then do the dropping H.

I only did it because when dropping with a L after homing L, it pops them up into a akward angel, but allows me to continue the juggle for another rep or two. Also, dropping with H is usually accident, I do that with 17 ;(

I’m still wondering what isn’t arcade perfect about this game. Is there a list somewhere out there?

The only thing that I think isn’t arcade perfect is the fact that a character can’t get up to 8 skills.

Although, I have the JPN version. Don’t know if the USA version is any different.

I was playing in the arcade, and some dude was hitting unfly combos on me using Vegeta. They seemed pretty damaging. Any idea what they could have been?

I’m not sure exactly (since I don’t use Vegeta), but it was probably just something like:

ff+L, L Homing, fly forward XX unfly~H, jump~H, L, H, qcbx2+H (two hits), qcfx2+H

By the way, does anyone know if the Android 17 and Android 18’s qcf+L/H beam has any special property at all? The way I see it, it’s just a slower, laggier, and more damaging version of the generic ki blast. It’s just useless.

Wow, wtf you did a better version of the No. 17 combo I just did in a certain vid I made, lol (I had some more chi chi combos, but 18’s body was better to toy around with… tee hee).

Pretty good combos. I just have to wonder: on the first combo…why did you only go 2 reps, 1 rep, homing~grab. You can go 3 reps, 2 reps, homing~grab
