Most of the websites have white backgrounds including your popular search engines, social networks, and news sites like yahoo.com. So everytime I’m done with SRK and head to another browser, I would have to readjust my eyes each time I switch from very dark to very light.
If you can bring back the white background as an option, please do so! and people who prefer the dark backgrounds can stick to that… thanks!
A white background theme for the front page is being worked on now, and will be made the default once it is ready. Black will remain an option for people who prefer it.
yea the black backround looks ways better
it does but on the main page of the forum, the blue on grey for “latest post” is extremely hard to read because of the clashing colors and text size
black doesn’t work in the drop down menus or text boxes
This is the only thing wrong with the Black theme at the moment. It seems it’s because the theme forces white text, and those text boxes and drop down insiste on having that graduated white/blue background.
I’m just glad that we have an option.
OP, as for search engines(you mentioned the white backgrounds), I use blackle. Much easier on the eyes! 
we used to have like 4 or 5 options
and then sf4 came out
i miss blue XD
No kidding. I don’t understand why this is so difficult to implement.
