I’m pretty sure that the game will be that Namco vs capcom game that they have in Japan now. Its a RTS game, kinda like Advance Wars, or Shining Force, or even Final Fantasy Tactics. I just hope they make a Capcom Vs SNK 3.
AM Show is an arcade only show, so no space for strategy games, and it’s held in Japan, where Namco X Capcom has benn already out for months now (it rules btw)
Also, Namco X Capcom was developed by Namco not Capcom.
If this winds up being 3D, I’m going to throw shit at Capcom.

I would hope for a CVS3, but since SNK whined about not making anything from CVS2…I doubt SNK and Capcom will ever team up again. SF4 is likely but its one of those things thats like, a good idea on paper but it won’t meet everyones expectations. Capcom doesn’t have the staff that it used to have to don’t get your hopes up too quick. If anything, we’ll be lucky if its CFE2…which doesn’t say much. The optimism in this thread is comedy gold.
I wont be surprised if its cvs3…I mean they had about 4 years to work on it after cvs2 so why not.capcom fighting jam 2 would be ok too as long as they add more variety.

Geez… there’s still a lot of rabid hate for CFJ/E. It was a good idea, but just poorly executed (I didn’t like it because of this). Besides, if you wanted to make a CFE game, wouldn’t you want to reuse old sprites and focus on fixing gameplay? People still played MvC2 even though the graphics looked dated and like crap! Hell, people played CvS2 despite graphics. Hell, Capcom could make a 2d stick figure fighting game but if it played well, people would still play it.

I hope its a re-drawn SF4 (or a new DS) in 2D, because not only we would get a new fighter, but it would also force Sammy and SNKP to step up.
But i obviously really doubt thats gonna happen. If its a fighter, its most likely 3D and not up to DOA/SC/Tekkens standards… and most likely some dumb shit like a VJ fighter or a Gundam fighter…
