Honestly I think CFE2 would be fine. CvS1 was a piece of shit. CvS2 came out and it was a fine game. So maybe it’ll follow the trend.

I didn’t like CFJ much but I’d still be excited if it was a sequel, as long as new 2D games are being made i’m happy.

I guess it depends on what you think is official. If you go to the atomiswave website it says that the game was canelled.
If it’s CFJ with no new (brand fucking new) sprites then capcom should save their fucking breath and not waste peoples time.
Only a shitload of gameplay elements can save a borefest like CFJ-2.

You know if it’s CFJ2, it could still be great. The namesake alone doesn’t mean it’s going to be bad, but then again I wouldn’t really be excited if they announced CFJ2 lol.
Here’s hoping for SF4 or Sammy vs Cap.
