I can’t speak for anybody else, but I love capcom because I love the gameplay of their fighting games (most of them). its not i love capcom and hence i love everything they do. CFJ is complete shit. So is alot of their stuff lately.
point being, alot of people are looking foward to some new capcom gameplay (hopefully fine tuned and maybe progressed a little further, hehe) wrapped in some shiney new packaging (graphics).

I’m sorry that I was more excited about a possible continuation to one of the greatest video game series, and the greatest fighting game series of all time than a game from two companies I have never heard of that may or may not be good, and that I may or may not actually ever see. Sue me.
Capcom’s fighters are hardly of such consistent ridiculously high quality to warrant such an overwhelming response to rumors, conjecture and wishful thinking.

Well to those people who keep whoring out NGBC, how are we supposed to play that when 1) most of the remaining arcades don’t even have it 2) the console port isn’t until the winter 3) those that can’t import it for PS2, have to wait for a Xbox US release which wouldn’t be until 2006 at the earliest.

Dude, I play anything. I love SNK games as well, and I used to love Tekken and SC. I was justing stating my own feeling that SF4 is the one game I want to see more than anything right now. I also realize that Capcom’s fighting games aren’t always of the most consistent high quality, but I have really enjoyed every game in the numbered Street Fighter series, and they haven’t let me down in that aspect. Sure CFE might not have been the greatest game ever, but it wasn’t SF4, it was a throwaway game. I don’t know if SF4 will ever happen, but I am pretty sure that Capcom will at least try to put out a good game with SF4 if they do it, street fighter is still one of their more important licenses, just look at all the merchandise, movies, and comics. That is why there was all this excitement about even the possibility of SF4. Because I think we all realize (or at least hope) that if Capcom does make SF4 they can’t just completely half-ass it, they would be killing one of their best intellectual properties.
