New build but need tips on joystick

it been awhile i been on here but i am glad i am back and upgrading to a newer stick for my pc/ps4. i have a madcatz mvc stick ps3 version. i wanna put in a korean joystick that have a rubber knob sticking out so my question is, do i have to borded out the hole bigger or it will be find and just fit threw it of it stock hole.

and another question is, does anybody have any problems with the brook ps3/ps4 fighting pcb board with the break out board. i read a couple of forums that the board just time out during game play and this is after the update firmware install.

hope i get some helpful tips on my new build.

You not just have to widen up that hole, but you have to remove the existing Joystick mount bracket from the panel and drill new mount holes.

This haven’t happen in a while as Brook really stepped up on their game of keeping up with firmware updates. Most of the issues you read is from the early days and those issues are already patched.

so i have to mod the mounting plate on the stick case or the joystick itself.

and about the firmware. have you had any issue with the window 10 because i had the 360 t ps4 usb convertor stick and had alot of issue trying to update the usb stick. i had no trouble on my win7 on my old laptop but win10 have giving me alot of trouble when trying to update.

You have to mod the mount plate as the mounting pattern is different.
You can try a universal mount plate adapter, but I am not sure of the height requirements for the Joystick

well, i have to try. i let you know when i get it done
