^ nah they don’t need to redo the first arc. The one available held that one up decentlly enough. I say just have a short prologue show casing some of the important details omited from the anime. Either way I dont give a fuck. Just bring Berserk back.
they better use the same music from the ova series. also, I hate this new digimon look anime has taken on. berserk is supposed to look dry, 90’s-ish and gritty!

I fixed it for you. You don’t have to really like anime to get into Berserk. I’ve seen quite a few anime haters get on Berserk and talk about it non-stop. But yeah, whoever hasn’t seen it, watch that shit.

Berserk has kinda fallen off. Took me a while to realize it but everything after Golden Age/Black Swordsman/Conviction arc(s) and the very beginning of the Millennium Falcon/Hawk of the Millennium Empire Arc has been severely lack luster. Granted, it would be pretty hard to live up to the above arcs. Specifically, the Golden Age Arc. I mean honestly, GA arc is one of the best in the history of manga. So that alone really is enough to forgive and forget the average-ness of the current arc.

Yeah, as painful as it is for me to admit this, Berserk fell off after certain arcs where it seemed to drag on and on. The pacing is horrible. It’s picking up steam though lately, the story is finally getting back on track.
Golden Age arc is, imo, unsurpassed as far as character depth and storytelling goes in anime/comic/manga. It’s simply that good. There isn’t a trio of character more mesmerizing then Guts/Caska/Griffith.
Once again, GA Anime >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Manga by a mile.
I am all for another animated series featuring the rest of the Berserk story. Although it would be sad, if the anime managed to run long enough to catch up to the manga and it had to create an ending (made me fucking HATE the Soul Eater anime) or leave the audience hanging again.
Really? I’ll have to check out 'serk anime then. I’ve never really bothered because manga was all I needed but I guess it’s time I check it out.
Most memorable moment in all of the painfully-paced MF is definitely Guts/Griffith/Zodd showdown at the cemetery. It was also damn awesome on the ps2 game.
