While there are no hard facts about a new Berserk series, some rather promising images have surfaced, revealing what appears to be some scenes completed by Studio4C, shown in a private screening room.
Studio4C is an extremely reputable company with innovative talents. They’ve worked on a number of fantastic projects including: Mind Game, Tekkon Kinkreet, The Animatrix, and Batman: Gothic Knight. There could hardly be a better studio to tackle this project.
Looks like we’ll finally get Berserk post-eclispe! Lord Mozgus being animated is more than enough to sell me.
It’s not about what’s better, it’s about a different perspective and absorption of the material. The source material will always be better unless the director was superior than the author’s original intent. That said, Studio4C has some great directors.
Btw, any chance anybody have any source of getting the manga? The latest chapter I read was the wind guy just fought Gutz in the room filled with pillars and all the monsters were about to attack the castle or whatever…
