Out of curiosity, is there like a theme or message to these pieces or do you just make whatever pops in your head?!.. You should totally be making CD covers or magazine inserts or something… Seriously…
Sometimes there’s a message in there. Sometimes not. A lot of stuff I’ve done recently has been commissioned, so I usually have to accomplish a bit of what the commissioner wants as well. That DJ Suits flyer was something I got do without input, because it was for myself (Me + Friend = DJ Suits … we DJ at an Indie Club in town every once in a while, and they said I could do whatever I wanted for the visuals).
And I’ve done a couple record covers and book covers in the past. It was fun. I’d like to do more eventually.

Absolutely loooove that. If you don’t mind, could you tell me your process of getting that photo image onto your piece? If I’m right that’s a physical photo transfer-- scanned and touched a little in PShop? Actually more I look at it less idea I have. Props to you if thats all digital-- fooled me.

I haven’t added anything in a long time. I haven’t been doing much visual work for the past year. But I’m in the middle of some flier jobs right now (I have 3 under way, though I’m a bit rusty and it’s taking me a little while to get back into the swing of things), and figured I’d put a few more recent things up.

Wow, your artwork is incredibly surreal, in a good way. Looked back from the start and each one seems to have it’s own distinct style which makes it almost look like it’s done by various artists.

And yeah, I’ll try to post more regularly. But I really haven’t been doing much in the way of visuals for a while now. Just getting back into it. Time gets scarce, or I get lazy, so I have droughts with this stuff.
I’ll take that as a compliment. I do my best to change things up. I have some staples that I tend to always include, but I try to push myself to try new things as much as I can.
Yeah, I meant it in a good way, actually. It’s pretty impressive seeing you go for all those different styles and expressions for each piece.
