I don’t play either character, so I can’t say too much on this subject, but IMO Remy’s super arts aren’t too great either(though certainly not as poor as Alex’s). SA2 is alright, but Blue Nocturne is useless and SA1 just isn’t effective.
What it comes down to for these two characters, imo, is their EX moves. I barely know anything about Alex’s but Remy’s seem decent. Care to offer any insight? This is an interesting topic to me(you rarely see the midtiers getting debated, I would love to have some Elena chat like that :wonder: )
Alex has some great EX moves. In fact, he almost should never use his SA2, unless it’s clearly a punish situation with no way for the opponent to stop it(ie, blocked Shippu). I am a Urien player, and I fear Alex’s ex moves far more than SA2. They are a great deal of, if not the most important part of, his game. Kinda wierd that he’s also my favorite character to fight against also huh. Oh well, I like a challenge:lol:
