That 3S matchups list is pretty cool, seems about right. Only thing is that I’d put Hugo a little higher, above Q at least. Can anyone scan that page in?
Edit: That’s crazy that Jack-5 is tops now. Maybe I shouldn’t have given T5 up after all hehe. It would be interesting to finally play a character that’s both really interesting to me and also top tier. Seems like those two rarely go together for me.
It’s been pretty well known for a while that Yang is upper mid. You guys need to keep up. Ex Mantis slash > some character’s SUPERS.
And no offense to the arcadia guys cause i know they are 99% of the time on the ball. But it’s pretty much known by anyone who is into melty that akiha is the best character in the game. The rest of the tier list looks arguably ok though which makes it interesting, why would they make such a glaring flaw?
Are you sure they didn’t nerf her hard in AC? Last I heard she was top too, but I don’t know beans about how AC is different.
She’s BETTER in Ac then in FT.
82C 2A combos with almost no effort (barely even works in Ft, you have to use 2B most of the time.)
There’s other stuff but suffice to say she’s without a shadow of a doubt the best.

i’m not gonna pretend to know anything about the game, but it seems like half the time i glance over at people playing MB, i see somebody getting caught in that retarded looking arcueid infinite
to everybody else, not that i have anything against debate or anything like that, but have you guys even played most of these games in question?
here’s my takes on the tier lists:
i’m not a pro tekken player or anything, but as far as i can tell asuka’s new moves don’t help her much at all. she gets a (not very good) wall combo, slightly more damage off of a 1+2, and a pretty useful, yet low reward high crush move. i’m not seeing anything that elevates her to B class
i do agree with jack5 being A class though. he’s my pick for best character in the game right now
all the people i know who play hokuto seem to agree that the top 3 is rei thouther and toki. i’m not sure how kenshiro slipped in there, nobody even uses him
kula and gatou seem miles ahead of their competition in kof xi. seriously.
ggslash players here have been complaining about ky for weeks now. he has a ton of new stuff to work with, the most notable things being FRC throw (so he can finally put that frame advantage to good use), jump cancellable c.HS (bigger damage on combos, scary anti air), and crazy fast o.sagat fireballs. seriously, o.sagat fireballs.
i dunno about sol or potemkin, but anji DOES seem really good right now. his new-improved air fireball move leads to wayyyyyyyy more damage, and the changes made to his butterfly move let him lock the opponent down for days so that he can do a bunch of overhead/low/cross up stomp stuff (into aforementioned big damage)
for ss tenka, i’ve seen a whole lot of mina/shizu/amakusa/iroha/kazuki in action, and they definitely seem really cheap, but amakusa just seems to be on a whole other level of cheapness
nobody plays NGBC, at all, so i can’t comment a whole lot. kaede dropped 2 whole ranks from the most recent issue of arcadia though (he was S). him and hotaru (also formerly S) still seem stupid good to me though. not sure what happened
urien is noted to have losing matches against akuma and ibuki, as well as only having even matches with a bunch of mid-tiers, hence his rank. he does go 4-6 with all the top tiers though
not a whole lot else noteworthy in there:
- makoto beats yang 7-3
- dudley loses to akuma 4-6 (and yun, and that’s all his losing matches according to the chart)
- yang beats akuma 7-3
- ryu does worse against the top tiers than urien, but he’s more consistent against the mid/low tiers than urien, hence the tie ranking
- oro apparently loses to chun 2-8

What does he have that puts him in that position? Is it just the lack of bad matchups against 5.0 nina/top tiers and his general improvements? Now that I think about it, I’d believe it, d/b+1 is like the #1 most hitting move in the game, in a game where good defense is hard to break lol.
It’s funny, I switch to J5 and whore db+1 and I get wins. lol
It looks like he’s a tad faster too.
