Got a reply today:
Basicly says: 1) Game was co developed with another company
2) Subtle Style doesn’t have the rights for a home port
3) Kickstarter or similiar sites are still too risky for them.

Something, something I suck at doing my job. Something something the link below has video that is as updated as 2 weeks ago. Enjoy sparkling Nazis.

Looking back on it, this game doesn’t look to bad (speaking on aesthetics)
Anyone got a download/purchase link? Friends look interested.
Oh my god… And I thought Blazblue’s spark effects covered too much of the screen…
That’s pretty damn disturbing if you ask me. Can I block without all that crap coming from out of nowhere? They don’t even look like sparks even, and make little sense to have. Otherwise, the game looks decent.
Yeah the dev team didn’t get the memo about that Pokemon episode.
Wish they made a third akatsuki game faithful to the original though. New one looks like a unicorn nutted on it.
question: did ausf achse ever get emulated? it was on the atomiswave, yeah? I would love to play that version. looked like it improved on blitzkampf in so many ways (which was already a great game).
Never played it, somehow I missed it. May check it out in due time. But I may skip out on this version of ABK, the hitsparks alone bug me.
The Arcade version of Akatsuki AA runs on Noami and has been emulated for quite some time, you can find it easely on the net.
really? ausf achse has basically my favorite hitsparks in a game. funny.
it’s really a shame en-eins is so vastly different. it’s like a poor man’s animu game. eins’ moveset is really cool looking though, I have to admit.
Been playin the original Blitzkampf for the past couple of days
Got all of my reflecter punishes down with sai and combos midscreen and corner.
Anyone wanna netplay? Is it good? Does it work?
If you’re using ABKCaster, yeah shit is pretty godlike. The game’s own netcode is extremely ass.
Getting some matches in would be pretty cool. I get home like 11PM EST or later Monday through Thursday, and I’m home basically the rest of the time. If you wanna catch me when I’m available, I’d love to play.
Quote myself 3 times in a day. A new record for me I do have to say.
And don’t worry I didn’t forget about you. I just saved the best Sparkling Nazi Fighter for last.
35 new vids. Have fun.
I read this a while ago but what a fucking shame. The game is damn good (basing this mostly on the first two versions) and would probably be really easy to get on PC. Tricky part would be netcode. But fuck we need good (emphasis on GOOD) fighters on PC and on Steam.
We gotta’ get a petition going or something. Show this other company that people in the West would play this.
Quick question: How do you do Kanae’s ABC super in Ausf Achse? I tried looking and found nothing and don’t want to resurrect that other thread just for one question.
It’s basically a combo throw, each piece uses 1 meter.
QCF+BC > 22+BC > ABC
i think the sparkles and rainbows and all that jazz are pretty sick. some are maybe slightly too large and opaque but the general look is amazing.
whoever was in charge of the UI, char select and portraits should be working somewhere else with better pay. because they are sumptuous without being annoying. really lovely.
Go ahead and set up a petition. I’ll sign it.
