I like how the shitty compression makes this like 10 times more watchable. Lol.
I think they darkened the brightness and contrast on the picture to help it look like a normal game.
For anyone who didn’t get to catch the stream, I don’t even think I need to tell you that you missed out. I did nab a handful of great screen caps from it for you, though! They really help to show the kind of game that this is shaping up to be.

Notice how hard the streamers tried to cover up the giant hitsparks, and yet they still couldn’t find anything large enough to hide them completely. Also notice how artfully each image’s advertisement suits that precise moment in the game.
The stream is over now anyway. And by “over” I mean “it’s still going but I think I’m done.”

---> youThe thing is the game was pretty different in it’s early incarnations. It was darker for sure, and there wasn’t any cutesy loli bullshit like Arcana Heart. Now I’m sure Arcana Heart plays like a solid fighter, but aesthetically it doesn’t appeal to me. Now the Ausf. Asche edition brightened the game up a little bit, added a loli, and (sadly) removed the blood. But it still held up. Now the game barely resembles what made the first game so good. I’m guessing the devs weren’t fond of the ‘Jew Puncher’ title and decided to go in the extreme opposite direction.

I’m not gonna lie, its cause of the cutesy loli bs that made me like the game a lot more than the first one.
