No, there isn’t any patch. I launched the game 2 minutes ago to see if it was true.
Ps3 version, japanese copy and French player.

What about american copy+ player? I would think that in this matter, as well as game releases, europe and australia come in dead last. I’d check myself, but a thunderstorm is performing some butt-fuckery on my dsl connection (must have a damaged line somewhere in the neighborhood. it drops out every 2 minutes). It seems like Ignition is all “Oh shit, cmon, guys, the US players are PISSED. Everyone else is, to, but we REALLY gotta hook them up. This is the first time EVER they’re showing such an interest, so take care of them first, then japan, then release the european version…sometime…maybe.”

I loaded this game through JPN account and received no update. I have JPN version on US PS3 system.
Well, at least we can hope that they’ve spent time on it, so we can really be happy with it’s quality.

Well this patch better appear soon… they were both submitted its the end of August where is the APPROVAL!
I thought I heard them say that the ps3 patch was submitted but the 360 patch is still being tested?

It’s Friday, August 28th and I was not prompted to download a patch upon game boot-up.

Keep in mind it’s Saturday in Japan. They’ll probably release it this Sunday… assuming they stick to this deadline. Monday IS the 31st after all, the end of August.
Keep in mind they said they were “targeting the end of August”, it wouldn’t be unusual to see this slip till sometime in mid-September.

The sad part is that even if they fixed the netcode. New people will still think the netcode suck. The image of KOFXII still will be sucky if you know what I mean.
Saying that, I hope the patch does fix online play.
