Has anyone else picked up the NeoGeo Stick 2+?

It seems like the only main difference between the “2” and the “2+” is the addition of a PS button. However…I’m using a backwards compatible MGS4 80gb PS3 and it’s only working so far on PSX, PSN and PS3 games. For some reason, PS2 games don’t register when the PS button is pressed.

Has anyone had any luck getting this to work with PS2 games?

Sounds like the same issue with TEs not working with PS2 games.

That’s what I was thinking. That said, why would anyone want to play a PS2 fg on a PS3? The input lag is terrible and seriously noticeable, even for non-lag sensitive people like me.

With that said, I’ve never tried PS2 fighting games on the 60gb backwards compatinle PS3. The one with the emotion engine in it, would this lag as well? Or just the PS3 with PS2 emulation/80GB backwards compatible?

All PS3s lag with PS2 BC.

Keep your PS2 console!

At any rate, it’s not like game stores will give you much more than $5 for a PS2 now… Who says you have to get rid of a console when the new machines show up???
