Negative Edge applications in CVS2?

I just got done watching Thongboy Bebop’s 3rd Strike vid which contains a tutorial on the negative edge technique. I was wondering if it has the same applications in CVS2. Of course this would only be applicable to A, K, S, N, and P grooves due to C-grooves 3 variations on a super. Do you guys actually use this technique for getting those hard links to connect or not?

i think you’re talking about druming(pressing all p/k in a row). i use it, it’s helping me. Negative Edge is just executing a move with a key up instead of a key down, i believe, which all grooves can do.
