i like it. i also wanna record but have no tripod
You beat me to it.
haha btw doing recording playback is so easy to do. If you select record you asap gain control of the opponent and you just do whatever. pause and hit playback and he loops whatever you did.
itās really easy, you may know this already but the way you said it in the video you make it seem like itās quite a few steps but itās not.
good video though!
DSP did playback in his next video (Blanka basics).
sweet, permission to put it in the front page sir
Nice vid tizoc, WAtched the rest of his videos. Subscribed
Parupunteās rog is very agile and it may inspire some of us (im gonna try and incorporate his pressure game + dash.) some nice OHP setups too.

do it NOW
Havenāt came across anything amazing though. parapunte seems to move too much too. striking a balance in between is crucial. aojiru guile is possibly the most consistent/balanced rog as of now.

should be in a sticky somewhere.
Thought after Ephermal had given me some pointers, as to what I should work on I would put in a quick update of my āimprovementsāā¦ Well Iād like to think that I got better (and no I havenāt gotten rid of all my bad habits yet lol) - but why donāt you tell me? As I mentioned before I really suck at self criticism. So please
Oh and I did the recording this time, so no HD - sorry!

I only watched a few of them, but it doesnāt really seem like you took any of his advice, honestly. Your gameplay is still really reckless. It worked in the first video, but I noticed the Chun player was really punishing your overuse of dash punches towards the end of the set.
Personally I donāt throw too many dash punches out aside from jabs and thatās if the tip of my glove is hitting them. Dashing from further than mid-screen gives your opponent plenty of time to counter whatever youāre doing.
I think Balrogās strength lies in his fantastic normals and ability to punish players with huge combos. You arenāt really making much use of either of those things.

Justin Wong using Balrog on Gamebattles
Sorry if posted.
3:45-4:03 That was straight up beasting. He predicted the fireball on his wake up and did an ex dash punch, then went straight up crazy with the mix-ups and combos, then finished it off by baiting Kenās dragon punch on wake-up with a FADC backwards, then punishes with a throw. Actually that whole match was pretty dope.
at time index 1:30 he throws j.HK, s.HK, then what? s.LP?..
iām so used to the trial 5 on hard that i didnāt even realize i could probably do that combo with just s.LP intead of c.LP it would be FAR easier to get ex rush upper on a s.LP then a c.LP.
no hate on the rog but it almost seems like his opponents were a tad weak.
the combos and mixups were monsterous though.
sweet vids guys, I want some of Justins Wong rog
Keep em coming-great vids
Hey guys,
Iām not a a pro or anything but I thought Iād post my youtube profile in hopes that maybe I could get some feedback/criticism.

Lemme know what Iām doing good/need to improve on, I have a pretty thick skin so let me have it.
Thanks
hes pretty consistent, iāll say that much. the mixups are pretty good, but the match is pretty much overshadowed by the fact that those shoto scrubs played pretty poorly. the ken there was a little above a flow chart ken, so there was not really any thinking involved. but nothing outta the ordinary, and i believe we as a regular balrog community can and is better than what he demonstrated.
i mean, its good, but it doesnt really show what rog needs to do at high level play, and thats suppressing the urge to rush down or ex-punch through counters. those shotos dont know how to cope with rog at all.
