Maeda Taison. First time I heard of this guy today and this Boxer is straight up aggro. YouTube him. He only has a couple of vids right now.
And he was the only Japanese Boxer at SBO this year, and his team was able to take a top 8 spot, mostly because of him. Dude is no joke.

Yeah, I read somewhere on YouTube that Maeda Taison means Mike Tyson. I thought Aojiru Guile was the best Boxer in Japan but Maeda Taison is on top, in my list. He has new videos against Daigo that were posted up a couple hours ago.

Just a note on this…
He hits an Upper AA into ultra. Im hitting this on average id say every 4 or 5 matches. if you space right (about sweep distance) and EX Upper on reaction to a backjump should set this up almost every time.

haha, that was a great pick up as opportunities for landing a headbutt > ultra is few and far between at high level play. Hence, learning to do an ultra after an anti air EX rush upper is very important to learn
Perhaps Balrog’s ultra with kicks really is faster than his ultra with punches? O_o

His far jab is +8 on hit, it means starting up the ultra with kick is at least 2 frames faster than starting it with punch… unless there’s some glitch to make it even faster.
That’s some serious stuff. I’ll have to try that out tomorrow.
I just realized that I actually met Maeda Taison and talked to him in Nagoya. Probably. Not totally sure. I was playing in an arcade in Oosu Kannon, Nagoya and this guy who looked like Maeda came to talk to me. Shit, I would have paid more attention if I would have known who he was back then.

I would say it went well
He was begging for OH Resets. and way to many random headbutts, not enough spacing
He knew to expect your headbutts on wakeup, you didnt know to expect his ex messiah
Rufus is a hard matchup when you are pinned in the corner other then that, you should have the advantage or a fair matchup
edit: and juggle your ultra with KPKKK will net you more damage and hits
Careful with KPKKK. The 3rd punch in that pattern tends to whiff against Rufus if you have him in a corner. Much safer to use PPKKK in that case.
