Looking to organize a meet-up in Tacoma and get a regular fight night locally. I’m partial to Cap fighters but open to anything and assume we rotate to what’s fresh.
We can get space at GamerzWanted for $6 a hour per person or $30 for all day. I’m open to hosting once the groups established and I’m comfortable with having people over. I build sticks and currently building a arcade in my basement it should done in a few months but I’m fairly busy with school.
yeah they are all retro arcades, but we bring our own set ups. Shoot me a pm with your number if you want to know when the next time we will be playing.
I just started school at Clover Park Tech in Lakewood, and I’m a newbie at fighters, hoping to get into it. I plan to play a lot of KoF 13 in particular; hopefully some of you are interested? Anyways I’ll be sending a PM to the guy who mentioned Dorky’s.
Hey guys, I’m the one who organizes the sessions at Dorkys. We will probably have one this Wednesday. I’ll post a thread about it tomorrow when I have more info. Hope you guys can all make it.
I’ll make it unless I have a job interview that day. Though I’m kind of a newbie, to be honest… I’ll spend some more time in training mode before then.
Don’t worry about being a newb. There is no better way to improve than to come out to events and play with other people in person.
Sorry man, that I know of, Tacoma is not too heavy in the MK scene. You’re welcome to bring the game if you want but if there is no demand to play it we can’t use a set up for it. We mostly run SF4 and MvC3.
Where is Dorky’s at? I live in Lakewood and am looking for places to go to practice against players rather in person rather then online. I need that practice.
I’ve been meaning to talk to my friends who work at a comic shop in Lakewood about being able to host weekly or bi-weekly events. A lot of them play fighting games and would be up for it.They’d just have to take it up with the owner.
