I have been attempting to find an exact definition for “Depth” regarding fighting games. I hear all the time, this game has a lot of depth, that game has very little depth. Is there an actual criteria that’s understood across the FGC that someone could direct me to? Of course, I’m sure there are a lot of people who have their own ideas of what Depth is… and I can understand that. In fact, to a degree… I’m fairly comfortable with that as well. However, if there is something I should be considering, I would like to know. Anyone willing to help a fellow out?
