So the builder of the unique gadget for my SFIV joystick had a family emergency and won’t be able to build my stick for about 6 months, which is too long of a wait as I need it done before SFIV hits consoles. I’ve started working on some more artwork for the panel and wanted to get people’s inputs on these 4.

Please provide suggestions, what you like, and what you don’t like so I can further improve on them. If you have any other character suggestions, let me know. I’ve been trying to find hi-res pictures, but there’s a very limited amount out there. By hi res, I’m talking 4000x3000 or better. That way on the 9"x12" at 300dpi deck of the stick, I won’t lose quality of the pictures. The next three attempts are below.

the fire add too much detail to the picture and probably will be hard to tell whats going on if someone sees your joystick form a distance
The Yin-Yang symbol from the 2nd one by itself.
I really like the yin-yang symbol with the tiger. The collage of characters is not all that good due to the various image styles. the clean and simple look is great but the yin-yang is too flat. Use the yin-yang from one of the other images you posted.
Maybe move the symbol so that it’s centered on the joystick. It depends on how much of it would be obscured by the dust cover.
Some good advice people. I appreciate it. Anyone have a clue on the diameter of the dust covers for JLF’s? Placing a 30mm circle over the center of the yin yang doesn’t seem to affect it in the least.
Also, Kaytrim, I never really thought about the different art styles, thanks! I was just looking for some characters to mash together. As of right now, a majority of people like the yin/yang with nothing else for the clean look. I think I’m just going to leave it without another character there. I need to find some pictures of symbols or something to place inside the buttons (black or blue rings with white/clear plungers) and I’m going to place a Mindz in the lower right. Here’s what the current version looks like.

EDIT: Although I plan on placing the buttons 11.5cm away from the joystick instead of the 9.5cm in the layout. I have big hands and long arms.
The Sanwa dust cover is about 35 mm, I thiiiiink.
Looking good but I personally like the white tiger better. You get to see more detail I think.
