Hey all I’m looking for an Akuma/Gouki picture thats highlighted in this photo:

I think I have found the source photo here:

Could anyone either make the source photo into the one thats highlighted in the first pic? or know where I can find that Akuma/Gouki pic in black & white like that?
Thanks for any help.
looks nice, but could you take away the glow on the red character on his back? Also what would be the name of the process you put the pic through for it to come out that way? I’d like to search for a tutorial to show me how to do that.
thanks for your help btw.
Here’s Akuma without the glow on his back
It is primarily converting to grayscale, but I duplicated multiple layers so that I would only have one picture in grayscale and several others in color and just did a layer mask around the symbol on his back and did a red color overlay.
For the grayscale I just played around with the levels and curves adjustments until I got something similar to how the stick looked. This is all after I cut out what I needed, of course.
I don’t know if this helps because I suck at explaining stuff; I’m more of a do person. Oh yeah, I also put it through live trace in Illustrator for darker line strokes.
If you need any other adjustments, just let me know.
Yo SlickVic, do you mind sharing how you did that!?
Yeah sure, just give me a day or two to retrace my steps and I’ll post it back on here.
This is probably the easiest way to do it, but it requires Illustrator or an illustration app along with an image editor.
For the sake of this walk through I named my layers symbol, Akuma, and background. If you have a question feel free and ask.
