Get a multimeter and take notes on your findings.
anyone have video on how to use a multimeter to find ground?

Keep in mind, if this is a common ground board then one side of every button contact has to be ground.
Also keep in mind their is a possibility that the board not common ground at all.

I’m going to be playing around with the multimeter soon. Have to check to see if my Hyperkin GN6 controller is common ground, going to put in a project box if it is.

you are right about common ground.i was touching the joystick ground to one of the sides of the button and it goes off. I’m like 80% but as soon I get my new joystick and buttons to solder it to broad to see if it work. i will make a layout for future use for other

Just touching together wires while it’s plugged in is easier.
