Hi I’ve been told I have terrible latency issues so I wanted to know what I can to remedy it. I currently have a wired connection and my provider is shaw cable (Canadian based company). Any suggestions on what I can do to have a smoother connection with less lag?
You can try opening your ports for your xbox360. This isnt really fixing your latency issues per say but it will help you to connect better to people. Its called opening your NAT. what u want is a open NAT, portforward.com can help you do this easily. Choose your router that you have then choose xbox360 and itll give u a step by step guide on what to do. As for your latency issues, try unplugging all comp/devices that use internet in your house, if your connection runs better then maybe one of your comp or devices is causing it…just a thought
