Hey guys, so i already put in the order for my ‘toodles chimp’ board from lizardlick.com and i was getting my 360 TE stick ready, ie took it apart, work on the usb connections… Sadly i made a big mistake and cut the Usb cable that was connected to the 360 pcb and then desoldered it. I then realized that the beginning of the USB cable had a 5th cable which was a black wire im assuming was a ground. as i cut further down the cable i noticed the ground was actually wrapped around the other wires, almost like a shield. How important is that wire? how can i fix this?
Don’t worry about it. It was just a shielded ground and it does not need to be attached to anything on the chimp.
