Need Hakan specific input for charting character stats

Just looking for input on this in general, and for each character specifically.

As stated I’d like to keep discussion for each character in the separate threads I am making in their respective sub forums, and input on the idea in general in the above thread.

Also as stated, despite discussion in this thread being open to anyone it would help me separate the wheat from the chaff if each forum could appoint someone who knows what the hell they are talking about to give me the numbers to plug into my spread sheet.

My garbage numbers for Hakan:

U1
Endurance - 4.5
Reversal ---- 1
AA ------------ 2
Zoning ------- 1
Rush --------- 3
Mix up -------- 2
Dmg pot ----- 3
Viability ------- 1

U2
Endurance - 4.5
Reversal ---- 1
AA ------------ 2.5
Zoning ------- 1
Rush --------- 3
Mix up -------- 2
Dmg pot ----- 3
Viability ------- 1

Other than the Endurance these are little more than place holder numbers. Input greatly appreciated.

The end result of all of this will be a spreadsheet with pull down menus to compare up to three characters like so:

Hmm…maybe Hakan may needs more charts since there are two version of him, unoily and oily.

For unoily, I would rate him as follows:
U1
Endurance - 4.5
Reversal ---- 1
AA ------------ 2
Zoning ------- 1
Rush --------- 2.5
Mix up -------- 2
Dmg pot ----- 3.5
Viability ------- 1

U2
Endurance - 4.5
Reversal ---- 1
AA ------------ 5
Zoning ------- 1
Rush --------- 2.5
Mix up -------- 2
Dmg pot ----- 3.5
Viability ------- 1

Of course there would be plenty of hakan players who may disagree with me, but this is just his unoily state.

For oily hakan:
U1
Endurance - 5<
Reversal ---- 3
AA ------------ 4
Zoning ------- 2
Rush --------- 4
Mix up -------- 3.5
Dmg pot ----- 5
Viability ------- 2.5

U2
Endurance - 5<
Reversal ---- 3
AA ------------ 5
Zoning ------- 2
Rush --------- 4
Mix up -------- 3.5
Dmg pot ----- 4.5
Viability ------- 2.5

Big difference from the unoily, but he does get more damage (more damge on specials and ultra and super damage is second to Makoto in rage mode), much more range, cancelable dashes and takes only 90% damge from the first two hits intead of 100% like the rest of the cast (following scaling is still the same). So his endurance is would be over 1100. With his ability of FADNC or simply BDNC, it pretty much nullifies any air attacks with the exception of armor breaking or multi hitting air attacks (Chun, Yang, Juri) which destroys his FADNC. BDNC may work against them i think.

Look out for names like Samurai Drew, Liquigen and Mordie-Kai if they post here. They are the more experience Hakan players in this forum amongst others, so what they say would hold more weight.

It kind of seems like it’s just over-complicating what’s already effectively shown in match-up charts. All these numbers sound so arbitrary.

^ True, but if the charts he makes ends up being the statistic that people would go to, I don’t see any reason why we can’t strip the image that Hakan is horrible. He isn’t and we got to show where his strengths are and not be known for his weaknesses. Albeit it might be a stretch to do so with these kind of charts.

You see though, that’s the kind of mentality that makes this prospect seem improbable. We shouldn’t be trying to prove Hakan isn’t horrible. We should be trying to be as objective as possible but that’s hard because these categories are difficult to quantify.

Fair enough. Besides the endurance bit where he did explain it was the average of his health and stun, there isn’t really much information how to gauge his stats amongst the others nor even easy to stick a number on him due to his uniqueness. Still, pretty much most of the threads had replied to him on how they would rate their character though. Would be interesting to see what the rest of the players think about their characters.

5 for AA on U2 Hakan oiled? I mean the ultra is good but can Hakan anti air THAT well without it?

I just put a 5 there mostly due to the threat it gives. Once I got enough meter for that ultra, i noticed virtually anyone who knows at least abit of Hakan matchup stops jumping and limits any of their specials which counts as airborne. Or they would still jump around and feint dive kicks/teleports trying to bait his ultra and resume the jumping-happy dogfights. Unoiled of course it should be lower technically once the ultra is used but its still a 5 for oiled. By anti-air, I’m assuming dive kicks or jump ins or cross ups which BDNC should be able to beat.
