Need advice with my TV input lag

I’m researching how I can make reduce the lag on my Sony Bravia (KDL-40V5100 model if it matters) TV by using different cables. Right now I’m using the HDMI cable for my PS3 and there is noticeable lag when i play a game like Street Fighter, and planning on buying it for the xbox this weekend. So I did some research and found a thread in this forum which helped me out a lot. Now i need people’s opinions so I can know I’m buying the right stuff. Well first can some1 explain to me how HDfury (HDfury) works, since there is like 3 different types and idk which would be best for my situation. Also there are more specialized cables for the ps3 and xbox which connects to the TV’s vga input where postprocessing is most likely disabled.
Wii/PS3 VGA Cable -Transfer pictures from the Wii and PS3 console that can be displayed on a PC monitor or HD TV
Amazon.com: Xbox 360 VGA HD AV Cable: Video Games

So i can seal the deal on which to buy I would like to hear different opinions on which 1 is better the HDfury, or the cables and since I’m planning on also gettin Street Fighter for both systems, I wouldn’t mind getting both cables if its the best choice over the HDfury.

Thx for your help

This thread has some info on HD Fury.

As for the VGA thing, unfortunately, there is no way to know whether or not your TV has processing disabled on the VGA port without testing it.

yea that was the thread I wrote about in the first post and I’m not sure how to test whether or not my TV’s vga input has post processing so I’m just gonna take a leap of faith and hope it doesn’t But lets say it doesn’t have post processing, which of the 3 HDfury types would be best or would the wires be better?
