Need A modder in the New York Area With Good experience > plz

Hope this isn’t a dumb question but is it possible to get a PS3 TE stick modded to work with the 360 & Wii? If so, who does this that will take a shipment from Indiana?

It is possible.

That’s great news. I’ve always wanted to give Tatsunoko vs. Capcom a shot but I didn’t want to play with a wiimote or classic controller & wasn’t about to buy another SE stick if I could help it.

Now to just find someone who will take 1 from Indiana.

I’m no longer modding. I decided to spend my personal time differently and focus on bonding with my new baby daughter and on my career. I’ll update here if I decide to get back into the FGC at a later date.

Hey I have some experience and I’m from the northern burbs (buffalo grove, libertyville, vernon hills area). I posted earlier on this thread but didn’t add my info cause Im fairly new to modding only about 2 years in. I have experience with making a custom stick, pad hacking, mc cthulu, dual mod, and rj 45 mod experience. I could do it if you were okay trust my young hands lol. Also I’m at school in new orleans so I can’t do it till summer but ill just throw that out there if you didn’t have any other options

Thanks to this thread I’ve already had two great customers and another lined up!

I got in contact with JusticeDude because of this thread and he installed an Akishop PS360 into my Round 2 Te. I met up with him this weekend and dropped off my stick and he was done in a few hours. I picked it up Tuesday and finally got around to testing it out today. So if you are in the Asheville, NC area or WNC I would definitely recommend him.

JusticeDude also did a good job with my Hori VLX(installed a ChimpSMD). There were a few issues, but I’d say they were more my fault as I didn’t give him enough time to work out all the kinks since I wanted it back the same day that I dropped it off. He messaged me back to check up on me and gave me instructions on how to fix one of the problems(which I did). The other is pretty minor which I can live with.

So just a word of advice, if you’re brand new to the whole modding thing, be patient. This stuff takes time and isn’t always going to work right the first time.

Is there anyone here that can teach me how to mod? The closest modders to me are in the Bay Area, which I suppose isn’t as far as some people have to travel but if I could save myself the drive/shipping and maybe learn a skill I can apply later all the better.

I have a PS3 TE and want to dual mod it to be able to play on my 360.

read slagcoin
that’s how i learned

Sick. Thanks for the site. What I’ve read so far looks great.

Nerrage, You should really PM Kyle when you finish a tutorial like that so it can be linked in the “Read First” Sticky.

Yeah, I’ll send him a PM. I know he posted in it, so I’m sure he’s aware of it. But I’ll ask for the OK on the sticky.

Poinciana (Kissimmee/Orlando)

New “modder” in Poinciana/Kissimmee/Orlando/BVL area.

Myself and some friends are making cases. We just made one as the prize for a local Gamestop’s Marvel vs Capcom 3 tournament. (Will add pics within the week)

We are doing custom artwork as one team member is an Artist.

Right now PS3 only - expanding to dual PS3/360 soon!

Can email orders to -removed-
We will ship to you and accept PayPal payments soon.

I don’t think this thread is appropriate for your business. This is for people who modify existing joysticks, not building custom ones from scratch. You should look more into http://shoryuken.com/f226/want-custom-stick-come-here-official-custom-stick-builders-thread-264421/

However, to be qualified to sell on SRK, you need to have 6 months and 50 posts. Once you have 50 posts, you will be allowed to sell on here in July 2011.

This is correct. This thread is for people who perform modding services. It is not a means for bypassing the 6 month selling rule.

My apologies I was not aware of that. I will see the other thread posted above. And hope to be sharing some of my cases on here in the near future!!
