Can anyone drill a hollow shaft for an LS-56?
What you are asking is incredibly hard to do but not impossible.
You are better off asking a machinist or a metal worker /machinist shop if they can will the shaft, or make a shaft (with the same measurements, groves and threads) thats hollow.
I seem folk start with hollow stock and cut a metal shaft out on a metal cutting lathe
Can anybody help with soldering points on a PDP versus fight pad? Its just a spare controller I have lying around so I wanted to use it to make a arcade stick. Or does anybody know how to solder up a wireless controller (got an extra lying around as well)? What would something like that run me?

longins you live in the IE, California i could do that for you for about 10 dollars. solder tools run about that much at a walmart though. learning about the circuitry on joysticks got me into customizable arduino boards and programming. take the leap, thereās a lot of interesting stuff to learn

I can do basic troubleshooting, Sanwa/Seimitsu installs for arcade sticks that donāt have QDs or joystick harnesses, pad hacks, stick rewiring for legacy consoles, dual mods, LED mod installs with LED controller PCBs like FGWidget.
