Great idea for a thread, I could use a little more exposure. I do everything from modification to console/arcade repairs; even Custom built sticks or (if you’re feeling spendy) entire Arcade units out here in Dallas, Texas.

Who else is trying to make some extra pocket change?
Spektrum - North Florida/Philadelphia
I do all dual-mods, pad hacks, RJ-45 conversions, custom wiring, troubleshooting and part upgrades.
I never created a thread in the trading outlet because word of mouth has done me very, very well. I take face-to-face and mail orders for those that are curious.
References available upon request.
Awesome idea for a thread though! I’m amazed no one did this sooner.
Hey, just saw this thread and think it’s an awesome idea for helping connect peeps with modders who can help em out.
I’m located in Salem, OR and would love to be added to the list. My work history includes modding of Fightstick SEs and TEs (everything from replacing stick / buttons to dual modding PCBs with MC Cthulhus and installing RJ 45 ports), and I also have experience in stick construction from scratch.
The new stick included padhacking a 1st party 360 wireless PCB, then wiring up all connections to it.
Anyway, that’s a pretty conclusive list of my stick building abilities. (Just about) Everything short of building the stick case itself. =| If you’re in Oregon and want a mod done, send me a PM with the details and I’ll reply if it’s within my power.
Updated.
Thanks to everyone who has said a good word. I appreciate it, and I am happy to hear ya’ll think it is a good idea as well. Help me out and spread the word to anyone else on the forum who is handy with a soldering iron.
Thanks again, keep the iron hot and those connections solid.
So no one in my area does mods at all huh’
This got 1,300 views easy as pie. There are people that need modders in their area. Shameless bump.
Why isn’t this topic stickied yet?
Doesn’t need stickied, a link in the Intro/Rules thread would suffice.
Sorry about that
Hak from brooklyn New York. i pretty much do it all heres my thread

Up to the date.
Edit: chuu added also.
I’d like to sign up. I’m in the west end of Toronto, Rexdale specifically. I’m a modder and stick builder. Haven’t built a stick in a while though. heres what i can do:
controller hacking, if there’s a slagcoin.com diagram, i can hack it.
Button, joystick and art swapping no problem.
Small repair and soldering jobs.
Never attempted a dual mod, but i’m pretty sure i can handle it.
as for pricing, i work pretty cheap when it’s on my own time or when i’m free.
Didn’t you used to do cases also?
Please add my name to the list.
I am in Central Florida, Kissimmee/Orlando.

Arcade Cabinet Restorations and Modifications:
All sorts of cable mods, and random other stuff and oddities. If you need something, just ask, I can probably do it. The stranger the better, I love a challenge.

You can add me to New Mexico. I can do: Templates, painting, dyes, button/joystick swaps, RJ45, MC Cthulhu, Imp solder and installation mods to 360 MadCatz sticks. Its not a whole lot, but if anyone in the area needs an extra hand I can definitely try and make time.

Other comment
We really need more moder on Western Canada! I was really surprised when I bought my first modded stick to Oveture 9 and somebody told me they have never saw a custom stick in real life! Really disappointing! I will be happy to help anyone who want to get into this!
