I just got off the phone with Bambi from Homewood Suites and I got two rooms for early check-in on Saturday morning. I got two smoking rooms, so they’re pretty much gaurenteed to be available. Hope everyone is ok with smoking rooms .
Also here’s the hotel I think we should meet at on Friday night on google map. It’s right off of 85, which is where a lot of the driving is until we hit 95N. Also is everyone ok with meeting here around 11pm or so?
Oh and no bullshit. Once I get a final cost on the hotel rooms, I need everyone to pay me their share.

i bought the set of tires for my suv today so it ready for the trip…
I need to know who is coming in my car. i have a 2006 kia sorento with 26k miles… so it should make the trip fine without any problems… if for some crazy reason something breaks down i have road side assiatance too.
like i stated… i am only going because who ever is riding with me is going to split the cost of gas among the 4 that come.

I am leaving work at 6:30pm and driving directly over there… i think it took me about 2 hours last time to get there… so 9pm sound good to me.

With taxes, the hotel rooms are gonna be around 20$ per person with 11 people going (Was about 220$ when I checked with an online reservation. 220$/11 people = 20$/person). It’ll be about 18$ if 12 people are going. I’ll get an even more precise number and a screen shot or actual receipt once I get an email or something. Might have to call her back cause I haven’t got the email yet. :bluu:.

Lobo, you should just meet us in Charlotte and I’ll drive my car up to Durham (and to c3 if need be). I drive a Mazda Protege so it will be way better on gas and we won’t have to cram up (it would just be the 4 of us, Me, You, Marn and Nick). If you get off of work at 6:30 you can definitely be in Charlotte before we have to leave around 8 or 9.
EDIT: Actually, there is no reason for us to drive up to Durham because their cars are already basically full. We can just head straight out of Charlotte to C3 around 9 and meet up with everyone there.
Exactly, we don’t necessarily have to all be there at the same time. It’s just a place to leave cars and meet up. But yeah, if Lobo isn’t driving then you are.
Only thing is I have to be at the hotel pretty much before everyone else to check in to the two rooms. Looks like it’ll be around 6 people per room, which isn’t that bad at all.
I know what you mean. I drive my dad’s Kia Optima sometimes (that’s only like 2 years old) and he just recently had to pay 4,000 bucks for another engine. This was like a week or 2 ago and now it broke down again while I was driving it with a friend right after that. Who knows how much it’ll cost to fix whatever possibly could have gone wrong with it now. Cars are INSANELY expensive. I hate them. I drive them…but I hate them.

What time are you leaving? I should be getting on the highway from Greensboro at 6. So we can meet in Greensboro at 5:30 if you want (but that would be somewhat out of the way for you), or I could be in Raleigh at 7:15-7:30. If you wanted to pick me up in Greensboro I could throw you some extra money as well.
Gonna be at Animazement this weekend, really want to go but Animazement is like a 6 year tradition for me now and I planned on goin since last summer (however, probably my last year going). I’ll be DEFINITELY going to C3 next month however cuz I’m visiting some people in VA.
