If you were a real Slayer player, you’d be getting out tissues to clean up the mess you just made when you thought about 5H off of undertow, followed by whatever dumb damaging followup he’ll be able to get from the groundslide that 5H now causes. Not to mention the FRC before the hit giving that move a legit use for the first time like ever. Then, there’s whatever the hell the new Dandy steps do; what if the FB version moves forwards, while invincible? The possibilities were already ridiculous with Slayer…I don’t want to think about the chaos he could cause while in your face now.

Anyways, Elven Shadow is going to the loketest in Akihabara, and has offered to try to test anything that’s requested. I’ve already got him on the dash cancel 5H…I’ll ask him about the Slayer stuff too, although Slayer is “that character” in Japan, so he’ll probably be everywhere.

haha nah I don’t really care that much. When it gets rereleased I’ll probably be picking up someone new anyway. A fresh start at the game would be more fun for me. I think my playstyle has changed where Slayer doesn’t actually fit me as a player anymore.

After I played Fei I told myself I was never picking a character that does only in close ever again.

Dunno if they’re bringing the location test out to Kumamoto, but I’ll probably go to the arcade on Saturday and check it out. I’d take requests, but I doubt I’ll play as much as watch, since I havent touched Guilty Gear in fuckshit knows how long. I’m interested in playing it when it comes out for reals though.

Sup NC peeps! I no longer get the updates via email because you guys are always starting a new NC thread, lol. Anyway, word finally got to me about our beloved friend, Mike Stinemire. I was on my way to work, downtown Austin, when I got the phone call from a close friend who still lives there in NC. He recently found out as well. I came here to pay my respects and to say hi to all you NC cats that are still here. I’ll spread the word to other people who knew Mike. Not too sure if Jive knows yet or not.

Too much to say about the man. So many stories from all the NC events we attended. You’ll be missed, Mike.

CEO is the way to go man, myself, flutterveiss, muaythai, aceunlimited and longshot all went last year from NC which is definitely not the usual group of people but we all loved the hell out of it. I’d go this year but evo is def gonna take up all my cash. Jebailey knows how to run a tournament and this year is gonna be even bigger for him.
