Sorry, I may be new but I’m not a bitch. Your boy played me online, lost, got salty and blamed his loss on lag then insulted my skill. This isn’t my first rodeo chums, I’ve been playing fighters competitively for years (I’m top three in the state at SSBB) and I know the difference between when a scrub comes in talkin smack and who is a legitimate force to be reckoned with. I have not been cocky, I just ask you don’t make silly assumptions based on a video I wasn’t even in. I gave him due respect after our matches and stated the truth when I said online means nothing, but he disrespected me anyway. So now, I will play you all in due time and I’m not saying I’ll win, but I promise you I won’t disappoint.
Duo: Are you an NC native? Have you been to any other local tournaments? I’m asking because nobody in our group has heard of you before, and most of us have been competing in and out of state for years. This is part of why people are at least initially going to assume that you aren’t very good, even though this is admittedly not a fair assumption. Additionally, saying you’re top three in the state in Brawl is just not going to impress anyone.
Anyway, as mentioned earlier, I will try to make it out on Saturday, all other things being equal. I’m not trying to make myself sound good either, I’m pretty buns at Marvel.
Trust me I know, which is why quit. But it does say something in the regard that I know my shit as far basic fighter knowledge. I understand what a mind game is and implement them frequently, I know what good spacing is and I know how to read people and adapt. Your telling me not to have an ego and assume I’m good? I was thinking of going to Raleigh on Saturday for the session but if there’s a tournament I wouldn’t mind taking a detour. On a semi-unrelated note are there any sports bars near NCSU cause I wanna watch UFC 129 (I haven’t missed a UFC event in years), I would pretty much be gone from 10PM-1AM but I’ll be at the session after that.
I’m confused about this as well. I was already planning to be in Raleigh anyways… so I guess I could make it if people are going.
Anyone have info on the venue and games being played??

Be careful when you use the word “you”, because I never told you not to have an ego, nor did I assume you were bad. I’ve been doing this for a long time and those types of assumptions have always come back to bite me in the rear, so I try not to do that. I’m just laying out the situation for you so that you have an idea of where some folks are coming from and not to take it too personally. We’ve had enough incidents of randoms coming into the community and talking big, only to back down after they start actually playing with us, so some of us are a bit jaded.

Yep tournament staturday. All the info you need is in the montage video. Like I said, there are probably gonna be alot of casuals there so don’t be surprised. Also, corner trap I hate online, I thought nothing of our matches if anything I was impressed with some of the choices you were making despite lag. You disrespected me when you compared me to the kids in that video. That is something I have proven to be false. I beat all those kids bad, they will tell you that themselves. But I don’t hold grudges not that I was upset to begin with.
What is the definition of premium store credit? I mean like is it used for something different that like a giftcard wouldn’t give?
