Ow ok, also how is that third carpool looking? To my knowledge the first 2 carpools for the Triangle area to Fayetteville this Friday looks like:
- Mike + 4 of his friends
- Josiah, Jon, Kris, Brandon, Azn_Boy (Erik?)
I know some players who still wanna come are Old Man Doom, HooD_Ninja, Porter (although I think he said he might have an interview) and Isaiah (Nappze). I talked to Isaiah and he seems willing to carpool so if y’all are still interested in that third carpool you might want to hit him up.

Dang dude if we got three carpools, I can’t even imagine what that venue is gonna think. They probably are gonna love you guys for starting it up there and realize it was a good idea since the fighting game scene supports each other.
Road Trip?
Well I’m out for headed to Fayetteville this Friday. I may have a job interview that day so I pretty much have to keep my schedule open for the better part of the day. Plus I have the same group of players trying to swing through my place later that night. Anyways hope everyone has fun down there.
Hey William, I am not going to make it early Friday, in fact I’m going to be later than normal. So you and Tom will have to organize without me as I have Parental duties I must fulfill before heading out there.
Even if OJ has decided, you got to do something with the misplaced hype:razzy:,…I say there should still be a little event, maybe now a 3v3 Team tournament, regions are null…just have everyone who wants to be in the tournament find teammates and make it 5$ a person (or whatever agreed fee). Just throwing that out there, should be fun, and would give a good idea to anyone new to team tournament formats on how they run. Make it happen!! House of Cheese/Squeeze, Ziad, GreenVillians, Bucket List, etc… bring your A game and prepare to be sent to the “Poverty” setup! :karate:

The venue owner John Larson is always cool about more player showing up. The more players we bring in the more business he gets, it’s a win/win for both parties.

Me and David will get there by 5PM and I’ll contact Tom to see when he’ll get there. We’ll probably have everything setup by 5:30PM before the bulk of players show up. I’m trying to go with a format of:
3 MvC3
3 SSF4
2 AH3
1 MK
1 T6
1 Poverty
I know the 2 AH3 and 1 T6 setups will be brought in by other players so we only have to supply 8 setups. Any extra setups we have laying around will probably go to MvC3. At this point I think we need players to bring in more systems and games instead of monitors.

I asked if people would rather have the EZ sessions hosted on Saturday but no one really responded. I just felt Saturday would be better since most people have school/work on Friday and don’t feel like making drive right after it. Also it would help give uniformity since the tournaments are on Saturday as well.
Well, look at the bright side, while I may not be able to make it down I’m training with some pretty good players that want come down for the tourney as well. So think of me as like a +4 for the tourney attendance lol
Saturday I’d probably have a better shot at making in general, still wouldn’t change this week for though since I have triple Mother’s Day activities with my gf, her mother, and my mother to spend my weekend around.
I haven’t seen anything with Lucky’s. Are tournaments still being hosted there?
Luckys’ management changed. In theory, they’re having a tournament on the 21st (unless it was canceled), but I think most everyone is going to EZ in Fayettville instead.
