Go ahead and make the posting if you have the draft, I suppose the other details will have to be worked out as for games and what system they should be played on.

MvC3 (360) I saw marvel on PS3 and I’m not a huge fan of the slowdown I saw, people can clarify that for me please.
SSFIV ( PS3/360 ) If everyone doesnt mind the 360 then we can run it on that, but for PSPad users, I can understand it needing to be on PS3, or we can dual system tournament…People please input on this

Other games… get the thread up William and let’s see what is wanted, I dont know if voting is any help because everytime games get voted at Lucky’s it always ends up cancelled. But like how HDRemix was ran, if people are willing to volunteer to organize games of their choice, we can work it out.
William on the post, since EZ is a public place, it should be fine to post up the address and such.
Information on the weekly sessions and monthly tournaments are in that thread. Input is definitely needed, what games do y’all want, what systems do you want the games on, etc. etc.

Also Austin, I don’t think we need to get up with Xrii, I think Xrii needs to get up with us. A big part of tournament organizing is contact with the players and promoting the event. It’s not for the organizers, it’s for the players.
I just posted on the Facebook thread that Xrii posted the date. This is what I wrote
"OK…from SRK, the majority of people pretty much said that they’re going to Elite-Zone tournament on the 21st and that you should cancel Luckys for this month if that’s the only time you can do it. But you should probably go on SRK and talk to them about that b/c if you don’t, you’re gonna be running a tournament with nobody there. That seems to be the consensus reached on SRK."
That’s it, if Sony can’t get their shit right at all, and I’m going to have to get a new credit card (glad I had a low limit one I used just for online purchases)- I might as well go back to 360.
At the very least, online play there won’t be anyone on PSN due to lack of confidence, and there’s no point to a free online if no one’s playing on it.
Xbox live is only like $30-$40 for 12 months if you manage to find someplace that has XBL cards on sale. I usually just buy mine from Amazon when they go on sale.
Whats up people? Me and a friend are trying to get something concrete in Raleigh. Bi-weeklies. Thats twice a month. We hold them at Champs sports bar outside of triangle mall in Raleigh. Excellent venue, well spacious enough to hold a good 100 people, excellent players, food and drink are a waitress call away, we get price cuts on food, and we have a small but growing core group. We also have another tournament coming up that is sponsored. It’s this week end and since it is sponsored that means no cash prize, but a gift card for the winner. Not much to speak of but its free to enter and no door fee for a great venue. Turn outs are always good here so its a good way to meet other players. Its at Edward Mckays Book store in Raleigh. Show up, have fun. All the details you need to know such as time, date and directions are in the description of the video. If you can’t make it then spread the word so we can get a scene developed. We also hold Street fighter 4 side tournaments on occasion as well so bring it.
… elaborate. What complaint do you have of it? Those are old as the hills vids from like round one. Its better than nothing. Tournament scenes don’t create themselves, you gotta advertise. If you don’t think the players are good I be happy to play you and convince you otherwise I’m the one who wins them.
Do what you gotta do man. At least you are putting the word out. I’d come out and support someone trying to get people together. I wish I’d known about it earlier. I’d definitely come out if I was in town.
Glad to see you’re enthusiastic and want to help the community grow. Although I must say that it is surprising to watch an entire promo of a NC tournament yet not be able to recognize a single one of those players, which I guess explains the low level play that Azn_Boy was talking about. If y’all live in the Raleigh area then you should hook up with Kris or any of the other players who host in to order to level up. Either way welcome and hope you become a regular member of the community.
If you want me to advertise your tournament on the first post then just tell me your first name and make a thread for it on SRK. You still should come out to the other sessions and tournaments though in order for everyone to know who you are.
