Yes, because obviously you need to fully master every infinite in the game before being able to compete, as evidenced by all these MvC3 tournament placers using infinites all the time.
There will me crazy amounts of casuals and other setups and people hosting side tournaments, the hotel the majority would be staying at is a resort as well. Apparently the guy who runs the whole thing is pretty cool and I think it’d be good for the atmosphere and experience.
Glad you enjoyed it and yea I agree. SSFIV is really good still enjoy it alot and luckily with all the options for different fighters to play you don’t have to get stuck playing stuff you don’t want to.

How much money do people generally put into as far as going for a major tournament. I mean like the entire trip… I’ve been trying to plan for CEO and maybe i’m just failing but even with 4 people the costs are somewhere between 300-400 dollars.
I’ve never flown to a tourney but for FR and Season’s Beatings I usually hold around $160. That covers gas and room and the rest is for food. This DOES NOT include tourney entry.

If you’re flying, I would suggest getting tickets as early as possible, in order to secure a low fare. Generally, the longer you wait, the more expensive tickets will be, though sometimes you can get lucky depending on the flight.

I really just wish I could play a 4 character team and just tack Dormammu on the end of my normal team, I’d be happy. I wonder if he could work with some combination of my existing 3? I love that character.
GGs at state to all though. I leveled up a ton over the night. Gotta play more HJaggar assist teams, I think I almost have it down. Also gotta learn to deal with Sentinel still… even though i’m getting better. It’s so scary pressing any buttons =(
