Haven’t had a chance to try out AH3 yet, …nor AH2 for that matter. Had a lot of fun with the first one though.
Greenville is a bit far from Greensboro, but if I’m doing absolutely nothing else I might force myself to go.

I would be up for games this weekend as well. I think, anyway. Gotta double check my schedule. Also, might be completely out for ECT3/EVO though after today, got some large expenses coming up in May. Season’s Beatings will probably be the next big trip, but only if it doesn’t conflict with NEC.
Yeah sign me up for not getting that either. If someone is so awful that you feel the need to inform someone else, it seems like you should definitely inform them? I mean, you’re telling your friend to pass along useful information and not just gossip like a queen, obviously.

Kombo, do you remember the exact sequence we came up with after the 2nd launch in th e Magneto combo we worked on at final round? If so, can you send it to me or something? I seem to only be able to get to 470,000 and I think I’m missing something but just don’t know what.

I’m at school now, but I possibly could go either Friday or Saturday… Though I’d have a 2 hour drive from my school if I went… So not sure (since I don’t wanna drive 2 hours to watch people play Marvel).
But if there’s supposed to be a bunch of Arcana being played, I’m down.

That’s actually how I feel since I don’t care about marvel and only kind of down for SSF4 games so i’m in the same position as you definitely only interested in AH3.
I’d definitely go to greenville if it wasn’t 3 hours away and if I wasn’t still recovering from driving to final round. -__-
This weekend may be out then. IDK for sure. Somewhere near Raleigh and Greensboro is more likely for me. Boone as well since I have friends I can chill with up there. Until something happens I’ll just poke around in training modes lol.
I think this is the key point. I totally understand liking someone on friendly terms and thinking their game is weak. But if you wanted to actually be a friend, you would tell said person what you think of their game, especially if they asked you. Now, I understand that’s awkward, because there are plenty of people who can’t distinguish between what is intended as constructive criticism and what is intended as an insult. That goes back to people being soft (which is something I agree with HAV about). But if you turn around and talk shit about someone’s game after being nice to their face, and word gets back to them, you are going to look like a two-faced ass. It’s just one of those things.
What it gets down to is, the best course of action is to avoid saying anything about a person that you would not, or have not already said to their face. And if you’re gonna try to say something on the down-low, make damn sure that it stays on the down-low. That’s kind of hard when you’re at a public tournament talking to your boy in the midst of a mixed group of people.
Games? I like games. Where are we playing games this weekend? If you guys do Greenville, that’s cool, but I probably wouldn’t be able to make it.
Also, Jon, I’d be interested in gatherings at your place if you plan to have them on the weekends (like, Saturday).
Good to know, I’ll keep that in mind for the future when I start getting this more solidified. Might try to make it a mostly weekly thing so we all have a regular place to level up.
On another note, I wonder why they gave Shuma such low health? He has to work a lot to get in and doesn’t really have that many tools. Must be because of how ridiculous he is once he gets going maybe? But it’s not like he does shitloads of damage anyway. I must be missing something.
